Sounds good mate… 3-4 years ago this place used to be a hive of activity… the go to site for everything matched betting… it’s funny because although gubbings do eventually take their toll, I actually make more money now than I ever did… mainly from casino offers etc, often think if I knew then what I know now?!… either way this site was my matched betting education!

Out of interest do u make any money directly from gambling any more Matt? Or is it all hypothetical workings to guide the forum users (and in turn gain the affiliate revenue)?

I noticed Fred were doing the dogs offer again recently, but kind of feel it would lose the account quicker than it’s worth…. fun though it was

Haha I had a go on that the other day mate… even though it’s only a tenner now… was more for the nostalgic panic of tryin to get the odds before the traps open and everything suspends lol!

It was easier in the end when I didn’t bother laying. 4 times out of 5 if something went a close match it was the dog all the money in the know was piling in on and the price would go even lower

I do still get involved with the matched betting side of things @betman, but naturally as the blog has grown over the years, it’s demanded more of my time.

As has always been the case though, I enjoy introducing people to matched betting and helping them earn some extra cash.

I’ve been over at Oddsmonkey rather than here to be honest.

That being said, I’m currently saving for a new kitchen (£500 left to go) & once I hit that I’m cancelling my Oddsmonkey subscription as it’s not worth the money anymore as I’m gubbed by almost everyone.

I’ll keep doing the odd back / lay to pay for my footy season ticket & some family take away’s.

I’ll also by back looking / posting in here again since I won’t be an Oddsmonkey member anymore.

Think a lot of people have been gubbed so interest in the site will tail off. Just lost my last major bookmaker account after doing matched betting for 4 years. Did all i could to not get gubbed but they all got me in the end. Going to take a break then move on and do the offers on the lesser known bookmakers.
