What is the Worst Mistake You've Made in Your Matched Betting History

  • A few examples spring to mind for me. Perhaps the worst moments are when you realise that you’ve not read the terms and conditions fully. Tonight I had “Any Goalscorer” market chosen instead of “First Goalscorer” for the Europa Cup Final MBS at Ladbrokes stores, this effectively changed my profits by about 50% today. It happens though and it’ll be a lesson for future endevours.

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Worst one I have had to date still stings……

Placed a £10 freebet on a horse to win the 15:15 at York a month or so ago, but mistakenly put my £9 lay stake on the Each Way market on Betfair. The nag only went and came in 3rd so I lost the lot, cost me nearly £80…..

I got a new one from few days ago so going to update this thread. Lost £400 by accidentally double laying a Bet365 Feature 4/1+ race at odds of 8.0

Since I started matched betting in the last few months or so I managed to bag almost exactly £400, now i’m back to square one. I shall overcome the hardships and rise again tho. Lesson learned, don’t half ass this matched betting business.
