What offers are likely for Cheltenham?
-
Havent been matched betting for that long. I was just wondering what kind of offers are likely to be given for Cheltenham?
Anybody have any experience from last year that they could share.
Are there any others to look out for on the calendar e.g. Aintree Grand National meeting?
I may have to hold off paying my credit card this month to give myself I little bit of extra cash flow.

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Take a look at Matt’s profit log… It will give you a good idea of the type of offers normally given for an event like Cheltenham and other events to look out for.
Matt made £184.90 from Cheltenham offers, btw. I’ve noticed some people are expecting much higher than this number – don’t set your expectations too high.
+0Considering Coral already have £80 in free bets….I expect the figure to be higher than £184.90.
+0I had a great offer from Winner emailed to me. Simply place 4 x £50 bets on C4 races over four Saturday’s (so £800 in total) and they would give me a £50 free bet each day of the festival.
Got my first four bets on for about £5 qualifying loss. Backed favourites or second favourites, all of which lost.
Then I received the “following a business review of your account …” email. Was gutted to say the least!
Hoping for some decent offers to come.
+0Yes, I expect the Cheltenham haul to be much higher than that. I’m including shop returns in that too. Plus all the boosts (which don’t really get blogged)
+0My inside sources tell me that betstars and sky bet are doing money back if your horse loses on the first race of each day. Paddy have already released that they are doing money back 2nd on every race of Cheltenham, which bodes well as all the other big high street bookies are going to have to work hard to compete. Personally will hope to make at least 200 per day but I have multiple accounts on every site.
+0Thanks for info peck. I’m hoping for some money back 2nd races. This 2nd to sp doesn’t do it for me at all.
+0If I don’t clear a G over the 4 days of Chelt I won’t be able to look my family in the eye. I will clear it though, I’ll be including shop matchedbettingg in that too though
+0All depends on time and also how many accounts you have etc, I think I remember rightly you have more than one account Dan? Unfortunately I’ll be in work, tempted to take the Thursday Friday off though..
+0Same problem here Ryan but will “work” from home.
+0Ya I’ve 2 or more accounts with a few of them Ryan, have a few shops close by. I’ll be treating this as week that week. Will be hitting the shops in mornings.
+0Hoping not to be on a customer site that doesn’t block the betting sites. Trying to do it on an ipad is a bit of a pain compared to a PC and don’t want to keep swapping to phone tethering
+0Are paddy doing money back 2nd for sure? Do they have the same offer in shop? Along with BOG?
Say on Saturday morning I went around 3 or 4 paddy power shops could I put 25 on all the favourites on that day? If I got 3 shops that would be potential 75 in free bets per race… Hopefully be able to match up on smarkets later especially with BOG.
Would that be unusual walking into a shop with €200 and splitting it across all the favs?
How are you planning playing it Dan. I’ve never been inside a paddy shop before and only been in kill dara betting shop a half dozen times about 8 years ago because they were next to a team I used to follow. But not really much experience of bookie shops. Do they have guys with hurleys and rounders bats ready to break your legs if they suspect your scamming them?
+0Looking ahead at some of the races and they don’t seem very good for promos. Even money back 2nd probably wouldn’t return much. Big fields, open races.
+0Ya they’re doing it for sure Fog, I first saw the offer in there before online even.
Nah man they won’t suspect a thing during Chelt because anything goes that week and the bookies is absolutely packed!
