Why was I gubbed here?
-
This is a strange one in my opinion.
I joined livescorebet a couple of days ago and deposited £10 and placed it on the european football. It lost. As a result of their new customer offer I received two free £10 bets. I placed them on the snooker and they both lost. Note, I didn’t even match these bets, I punted them.
I have received a gubbing email this morning from them telling me that I will no longer be able to take part in any promotions. I didn’t even match bet! And I certainly haven’t withdrawn as all my bets lost.
To me, this is just bizarre. Do they just gub anyone who uses the free bets they are automatically given? Can you imagine if the average mug punter who doesn’t know anything about matched betting opened an account at that site, placed the 3 bets and then received that email? They wouldn’t have a clue what was going on.

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Exactly the same happened to me with livescore. Tinpot outfit.
Happened to me with Tommy French a while ago as well.
+0I wonder what their reasoning is?
+0Smaller bookies will tend to be quicker to gub. They don’t know whether you match your bets so whether you did or didn’t makes no difference. There will multiple reasons they reached that decision so quickly, could be location, sharing data with an affiliated bookie, was your qualifying bet on a more obscure game etc. Whatever the reason is, you will never know. Just get used to these smaller bookies gubbing really quickly and avoid smaller bookies with roll over terms as they will tend to restrict you or gub you part way through you rolling over your profit!
+0I have not heard of them but will join now to get the £20 from them!
+2@sam_69: Said in the true spirit of an MB’er.
Get what you can out of these smaller accounts and if they put up barriers to withdraw money then just keep betting until the pot is empty. Most profitable ‘bets’ are losers anyway.
If you get gubbed early or late doesn’t matter, move onto the next one.
While on the subject I had been warned off using Novibet but currently it is one of my best accounts so you can never tell how it might work out for you.
+0So I am done on Livescore now. Joined last week, gubbed this week. Either they expected punters to be banging on bets everyday or they just do this for everyone, or as they own virginbet they know your history. Anyway I managed to get some money out of them.
