William Hill 2nd Chance

  • Just an insight to anyone who doesn’t know what the offer is, if your chosen first goal scorer, scored 2nd instead you get your money back as a free bet up £50.

    Usually only worth it with the likes of Ronaldo/Suarez/Messi etc as the lay odds are only close with them and they usually have a good chance of scoring 2nd.

    However Mata is odds of 8 first goal scorer and lay is 7.8. I was only allowed £20 stake not sure if I should be worried or not never had that problem previous…Granted a £50 bet is a 97p loss, whether a 97p loss is worth it for a £50 bet assume £40 profit. Odds of 40/1 for Mata to score 2nd value in that who knows, makes the game more exciting for me anyway!

    Odds for Martial weren’t close enough 5 & 5.5 a £50 stake is a £6.42 qualifying loss…definitely not worth it.

    i had a pp messenger offer where if first goalscorer scores 2nd you get your money back i put fiver on martial.

    The PP Messenger is a lot better as that’s if your first goal scorer scores anytime instead, the WH is just 2nd.

    ah yeah sorry thats what i meant yeah its a really good deal surely the bet will either come in or a refund man utd jsut cant lose tonight or it will pile more embarrassment on them!

    Just annoyed my stake was limited to £20 and not the full £50 that would have been nice…but still £20 free bet can’t complain that much I guess!

    Meh still annoyed I couldn’t do the full £50 as it was only like 50p more qualifying loss…hope my account is okay and William Hill just decided to limit the bets on Mata fingers crossed but yes, should have posted this earlier so more people could have gotten on!

    I think the odds went to 8/8 so with 5% commission qualifying loss increases quite a bit..I only did it cause the odds went to 7.8. Definitely worth a go with good lay odds especially with Ronaldo/Messi etc..but yeah felt quite confident with Mata!

    I’m having the same problem with coral – they are limiting my stakes on some offers to €12 where everyone else can get 20 or so. I think they are closing in on us Ryan. I have totally laid off the coral boosts for now. Taking it easy want to keep my accounts alive for Cheltenham…
