Just an insight to anyone who doesn’t know what the offer is, if your chosen first goal scorer, scored 2nd instead you get your money back as a free bet up £50.

Usually only worth it with the likes of Ronaldo/Suarez/Messi etc as the lay odds are only close with them and they usually have a good chance of scoring 2nd.

However Mata is odds of 8 first goal scorer and lay is 7.8. I was only allowed £20 stake not sure if I should be worried or not never had that problem previous…Granted a £50 bet is a 97p loss, whether a 97p loss is worth it for a £50 bet assume £40 profit. Odds of 40/1 for Mata to score 2nd value in that who knows, makes the game more exciting for me anyway!

Yeah offers like these are ones that people tend to miss and can be very profitable, i’m not sure FOG I think it may just be me putting £50 on Mata was a no, might have taken a lot of money already. They were fine me whacking £50 on Man Utd..its not like £50 on Mata is an enhanced price..meh we shall see.

Didn’t do the full £50 (obviously regret it now) but the lay odds weren’t as good so just did £20 for a £2.37 qualifying loss, more than I wanted but was worth it now.

Yup saw that, didnt have a chance to look at it as I was out. Sometimes its not worth it as the lay odds are awful sometimes they’re spot on though!

Still a £4.45 loss which is quite high but gives us effective odds of around 8/1 which probably is worth it. Sometime tomorrow no doubt!

Could do with looking at stats and seeing how many times does Messi scores exactly 2nd (and not 1st)…as long as its more than 1 in 8 then go for it, which I suspect it probably might be but then again ive only done it when the lay is pretty much same as the back odds as I dont like a large qualifying loss.

£4 is ok in here i think. Messi not to score first around 1.36 x Messi next goal 4.0 as an example. Gives odds of 5.44.
