I’ve done my bet for the Arsenal game. I am going to do my bet for the 15:25 at Newbury. Can these bets be placed at any time? Or do they need to be placed on the day? I got my e-mail from William Hill stating that if I put £20 pre-match on the Arsenal game tomorrow I will be entitled to a £10 free bet for day 1 of Cheltenham. There wasn’t any time stipulations in the terms and conditions.

Also, the best I can find for the Newbury race at 15:25 is either 8/8.6 or 6/6.8. These will mean a qualifying loss of £1.72 – 2.66…is this a bit too much and is it still worth doing?

I’ve also noticed in their terms and conditions:-

“Free Bets can only be used on the first day of the Cheltenham Festival.”

However, in the table on the offers page, the redemption dates specify Day 2, 3 and 4:

Date Qualifying: Bet £20/€20 Redemption: £10/€10 Free Bet
    27/02/16 Kempton 3.35 Day 1
    05/03/16 Tottenham v Arsenal Day 1
    05/03/16 Newbury 3.25 Day 2
    08/03/16 Real Madrid v Roma Day 2
    09/03/16 Chelsea v PSG Day 3
10/03/16 Liverpool v Man Utd (Europa) Day 4 – Gold Cup
    12/03/16 Imperial Cup – Sandown 3.10 Day 1 – Supreme Novices Hurdle
12/03/16 Everton v Chelsea (FA Cup) Day 1 – Supreme Novices Hurdle

I was of the understanding that, for example, if I place the £20 qualifying bet on the Tottenham Arsenal game I would get a free bet for Day 1, the Read Madrid Roma game I would get a free bet for Day 2 etc etc…

Daz. £2.66 is not too much of a qualifying loss. You are getting a £10 free bet which will end up with about £8 after extraction. So still profit.

Also I read it as you read it. The arsenal bet will give you a free bet for day 1 the 3:25 race will give you a bet for day 2.

Guys the 3:25 in Newbury is also a money back second race. So put 25 on and if he is second you can get a 25 free bet today and a still def get the free bet of 10.

Just wanted to bump this up the forum in light of the fact it’s an ongoing one and requires more bets this week.

I am slightly concerned by the fact that I can’t now find any mention of this on the WH site!

Is it 1.5 min odds on all these bets? Can’t find it on WH site but remember on Saturday it only appeared later on so maybe more info tomorrow.

Hoping it’s not as Real at 1.4/1.42 would be a good qualifier
