There is a post on “the other” MB site with another chat transcript stating previous bets WILL count to match the Twitter feed.
Looks like a bit of a shambles, especially as I’d placed my Real/Roma bet just before I got wind that there could be an issue.
+0I had issues placing my bets on saturday anyway! – I was on mobile, but still expect to be able to place bets. Would click a selection and it would pop up as ‘added to betslip’, then there would be nothing in the betslip!
+0Got a DM on Twitter – it was confirmed to me Live Chat were wrong in my instance – the bets on Saturday on Newbury & Tottenham WILL count but Real/Roma tonight DOESN’T.

+0Yeah I just did. Apparently they pulled it because they are pissed off with the amount of matched bettors taking advantage of this offer.

I just got told on chat this offer hasn’t been pulled and Real Madrid game tonight is eligible still? I’m a bit confused now?

Only just discovered this site because I was looking for info re the William Hill Cheltenham offer.
Having sent an email to support on the 8th March asking why the list of qualifying events was no longer showing, I phoned support this evening (Thursday 10th) to find out if I was ok to bet on the next qualifying event which according to the t&c’s shown on the 5th March was meant to be stake £20 on Liverpool v Man Utd for a free £10 bet on day 4 Cheltenham. Support informed me that according to the traders there was no such offer available tonight and whilst extremely apologetic there was nothing she could do other than raise this with the marketing team. She was also unable to say where I stood regarding the previous bets which I had placed based on the advertised offer.
I am an infrequent player but have been online with WHill for over 25 years and in that time I have trusted them 100% and find it incredible that they could mess up in such a way.
Right now the website says I can bet on “The Imperial Cup free bet only redeemable on the Supreme Novices Hurdle.” but I have lost all confidence in being able to trust it.
Disheartened…

Have to say this makes me less inclined to even bother opening a new Hills account after yesterday’s unfortunate events. Certainly less urgency about doing it in time for Cheltenham.
