William Hill Brand New Racing Offer – 2 Clear!

  • Fine folk. High 5 promotion has ended today and while a few suggested it will be replaced by beaten by a neck – they are wrong! I’m not entirely sure if people will like this one but here’s the replacement called 2 CLEAR starting from tomorrow at Windsor – Back a horse to win and receive 15% of your winnings as a free bet if he wins BY 2 LENGTHS. The good thing – it’s only 2 lengths now which is great. The bad thing – percentage cut to 15% and I don’t think there’s a refund for the 2nd place! Your thoughts?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I (think) I can explain. The new offer is for the true flat season on grass. I believe there isn’t a meeting today as there are 2 jumps meets plus all weather at Chelmsford. Nice of them to put the old offer on but would have preferred high5 for one last time FACT

Yeah that makes sense, noticed it was AW. Rather this than 2 length any day.

I’m speaking out of complete ignorance here but is 15% worth it? I would think that Hills odds wouldn’t beat the exchange by much more than that under normal circumstances.

Must be slim pickings here unless BOG is where the margin lies?

Like others, I don’t like the flat season. Not as profitable and not as interesting to watch. That said the most profitable offers for me have been 365, betfair and betway combined. Wonder if these will keep going through the flat season.

Yeah this offer is not as good as high 5, I just try and get on as many races with low ql from this and paddy power second to sp favourite, I’m finding that I sometimes get the free bets but about once a day I’m getting a really decent profit from best odds guaranteed as well.

Jimmy, the biggest differential (Hills/Smarkets) any of us are taking is 2% and that is rare, if your canny and can “read” the market you can usually get -x%

That said, it certainly isn’t hitting the bonus much! Bath today-if the 16:00 doesn’t do it I am seriously throwing the towel in. That said it’s only just over 5 furlongs so perhaps not the best example to hang my hat on.

Winners by 2 lengths or more are already looking regular. The problem with this offer is the odds. William Hill are 0.5 or more worse than the majority of other bookies. Its been almost impossible today.

This offer is BRUTAL. Must have done it fifteen times with about ten winners but no distance for the free bets.

Agreed, similar position here. The only real prospect for me is the 17:30 race today

And of course the 16.20 (1m) and 16.55 (6f) were won by over 2 lengths. Was on neither myself after not getting a sniff with the earlier races.

And of course I had the winner in the 17.30 and it’s 1 3/4 lengths :(

I’m keeping the faith that when the good flat meetings with quality horses and quality races are on, this offer will be profitable.

They went for Redcar today, loads of horses with no form, nothing in the top three grades (although I still managed three winners) and the only meeting that wasnt televised on At the Races.

And on that note, Newmarket is tomorrows 2 Clear meeting. It should be better for this offer as it has a one mile, two furlong downhill straight.

    Arrrrgh

Had three winners out of three on this today including the last one where i got 11.0 and layed at 9.0 for a bit of profit at least. Nothing winning by more than half a length though. Calling it a day on this offer for a few weeks at least.

Gave this a miss today and went for Betfair and Betway FB offers instead…. first race backed winner, 2.5L clear.

Woohoo, I got it. Finally after more than a week. £37.50 free bet. First of many today hopefully.
