+0I just realised I’m working with euros and placed €20 bet maybe it needed to be equal to £20. I’ll wait and see what they say – best of luck !

+0I had the same problem, phone their helpline, I got through in about 10 minutes and they credited the free bet.
+0I got my bet on about 4 minutes before the game started,got the free bet about 10 mins later,already locked my 7 quid profit in.

I didn’t get my bet either so had to phone them up. 15 mins later they credited my bet. I cocked up the lay though and only made £5.72 less the qualifying loss
+0I did’t think of phoning them – too late now – still 66 people ahead of me in live chat – not too impressive when people have to call to get the free bet credited. Thanks all!

There isn’t an opt in. You just place the bet meeting their min. requirements.
+0Basically to be on the safe side,log in to your WH account,scroll down the page,you will see the “December with William Hill promotion”,which shows the Southampton/Liverpool game for tommorow,bet using that link,and all should be well and you get the £10 free bet.
+0If you phone them up or eventually get through on the live chat you can complain about it and they will almost certainly give you a goodwill free bet.
