William Hill New Horse Racing Offer

  • Hi all. I’m fairly new to matched betting so still getting to grips how to play certain offers. My first thought was this looks good but not sure how to play it. Any advice??

    HIGH 5
    Our New Horse Racing Offer

One in three National Hunt (jumps) races were won by five or more lengths last season.

With that in mind, we give you our new racing offer – High 5. Place a bet on selected jumps meetings, and if a horse wins by 5 or more lengths…

» Back the winner and you’ll get a 25% bonus.
» Finish second and get money back as a free bet.

There’s a High 5 meeting every single day:
    ‣ Friday and Saturday – All jumps meetings.
    ‣ Sunday to Thursday – One selected meeting.
    ‣ All live Channel 4 races

It all starts this Friday, just in time for the top class racing at Cheltenham’s three day Open Meeting.

So if your horse romps home, or finishes behind a clear winner, we’ve got this jumps season covered.

First couple of races a disaster but hit a couple of winners and a 2nd in the last two.

Almost made what would have turned out a +£571 mistake on one race back there. Unfortunately (in hindsight!) I noticed and corrected it. The 8L winner and subsequent £90+ FB more than make up for the £11QL I had to take, but it served as a good reminder that mistakes can happen and that I need to be more vigilant when doing this on the fly in between meetings!

I’m running out of exchange money…. didn’t help I spotted an arb earlier at 24-1 (which I laid at 19’s) that romped home after getting gambled into 10s.

Is there anything worse than a winner by less than 5L?!?!?

    Yes there is… 2 in a row!

Just hit a winner with one of my free bets… fortunately I underlaid it by quite a bit.

I was wrong. Very wrong. What a day! Freebets expire after 7 days and I can trigger withdrawals without them being taken away right?

Final race could have been so much better… Smarkets feckign plays up while Fav is being gambled from 2.0 to 1.66.

Betfair odds were about 1.73 while Smarkets were 1.9

Just 1L short of the 5L too as the 2nd place rides a finish 16 lengths clear of the 3rd.
