William Hill New Horse Racing Offer

  • Hi all. I’m fairly new to matched betting so still getting to grips how to play certain offers. My first thought was this looks good but not sure how to play it. Any advice??

    HIGH 5
    Our New Horse Racing Offer

One in three National Hunt (jumps) races were won by five or more lengths last season.

With that in mind, we give you our new racing offer – High 5. Place a bet on selected jumps meetings, and if a horse wins by 5 or more lengths…

» Back the winner and you’ll get a 25% bonus.
» Finish second and get money back as a free bet.

There’s a High 5 meeting every single day:
    ‣ Friday and Saturday – All jumps meetings.
    ‣ Sunday to Thursday – One selected meeting.
    ‣ All live Channel 4 races

It all starts this Friday, just in time for the top class racing at Cheltenham’s three day Open Meeting.

So if your horse romps home, or finishes behind a clear winner, we’ve got this jumps season covered.

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Like the rest of you, I can’t seem to hit a decent enough string of losers to get my WH balance down. I’ve done pretty well out of this offer myself but it is definitely hit and miss – some days you’ll get two or three others nothing. Nothing more frustrating than a 4.5 length winner.

2 lengths again but still £40 profit on the gamble which will go on the next two races.

They definitely picked the right meeting today. Short winning distances at Plumpton whereas at Ayr over the jumps every single race so far has been won by 5 lengths or more and by short priced favourites in 3 out of the 4.

I have done relatively well out of this offer I would say, but have in the last few weeks also hit a few 4 and 4.5 length winners which has been frustrating

A lot of favourites won over weekend but none by the required margin lol, I even had one get back up on the line against my bet365 horse

I think there is the temptation to go after a short price favourite with a chunky qualifying loss, I mean like a 4/5 favourite in a 6 runner race when second favourite is at least 5/1, you are thinking 50% it wins and maybe a third of time probably easy so like 1 in 6 free bet

Make sure stick to small qualifying losses and long term its a good promotion in my opinion

One thing a mate did tell me who works in shops for WH he said the heavier the going the more spread out the field.

No free bet payout again on this today, think I’ll leave it alone for a while. It will at least preserve my account.

Chris I have done this offer 37 days…most of the time covering a lot of races if I can on a single day so lets say 5 races / day average

profit in that period after today’s BOG payout on no currency….£1025. I tend to get bets on early and even often accept higher losses because of the chance of non runner advantages and BOG

Haha jdrobbo and what have u ever done

I dont actually care if u believe or not but its FACT and do my numbers really sound that high…1k over 37 days say 5 races a day is a fiver a race. That means out of say 6 horses i need one to come 1st/2nd by over 5 lengths, or win and get BOG, or there be a non runner that helps the profit.

If you are amatuer dont know what you are doing with the horses jdrobbo then stay away but there is definite profit in this

angered me this. Yesterdays example I lost £10 qualifying for 5 bets. Didnt get the offer payout on any but as any currency went off 3.0 not 2.625 I got an extra £49 on BOG! GAME FACT AND MATCH!

To agree with matchdem, I have had a few BOG wins on top of the free bets as well. Also because of multi accounting I have found it good to bet on the top 2 horses on different accounts and twice so far I have had 1st and 2nd and the race was won by > 5 lengths. so a double wammy
