William Hill not grading bet boost in payout?
-
Hello all.
Over the course of the last week, I’ve had a couple of each way winners with Hills, all of them having the patented bet boost added to the slip. Now, when I go to check in the settled bet section, the bet is listed as a winner with the initial odds and the return is shown as what it would be with the initial odds, even though the background of the bet does have “BOOSTED” in big letters and is yellow, the boosted odds and boosted return are nowhere to be seen.
I have heard of a really dodgy encounter with Hills recently, which has led me to tread carefully with them now. It wouldn’t surprise me if they’re secretly voiding the boost on these bets which would mean probably finishing with them.
Has anyone had a similar experience or a good explanation for this? Thanks

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Only the win part gets boosted, the each way part remains at original odds (or BOG if applicable)
If you believe the win part has not been boosted, but you are able to add the boost to your slip, then I’d get on live chat, if you were gubbed then you wouldn’t have an option to boost at all.
+0Ah ok, I had no idea about the each way part of the boost not being apart of it, so thanks for pointing that out. Is that laid out clearly or do you have to go through a lot of ts & cs to find it? Shaves a lot off my results in recent times, wouldn’t be surprised if it’s an insidious tactic of theirs.
+0It’s stated in the thumbnail for the offer, and its around the 9th bullet point in the main terms here.
