Withdrawing from SkyBet

  • I took part in the 14:25 Kempton offer today and unfortunately I picked a winner. I’ve now got £112 in my SkyBet account that I could do with withdrawing. Correct me if I’m wrong but it seems quite a natural thing to do from a mug’s perspective to withdraw all winnings after winning £87 on a horse, do you think this is likely to reflect badly on my account?

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Yes, it’s fine. Natural thing to do.. I wouldn’t completely empty the account, leave a bit in there 🙂

Withdraw some, but not all. If you can afford it leave it all in there. Sky always have offers and you’ll soon get through it. I had about £200 in there, got down to £35 and then also backed the winner today and won a couple of bets there yesterday (I do random horse/footy bets that aren’t linked to any offers as well – layed of course – makes me look genuine)… Back up to over £250 again now.

Yeah. I’ve been very ‘lucky’ at Skybet recently. Today didn’t help, but at least the enhanced acca didn’t win. Got over £500 in there but don’t wanna withdraw any. Skybet are too good for offers that I don’t wanna risk it. The balance will hopefully come down again eventually!

Thanks guys! Think I’ll just wait it out, should play through it soon enough.

I think some of you overthink these things. Leaving ALL of your balance in there when it gets to be 5 x your normal balance after a big win screams more of being a match bettor (who can afford to have £500 sitting in a bookie account) than it does of being mug punter!

I was also on the 2:35 winner. This in the same week that I banked £300 on an in play boosted correct score, and won £100 on the risk free slots promo, so I had a significant amount in there and have just withdrawn a fair size chunk of it – let’s see if I get restricted as it seems a given the way some folk go on 😀
