York ebor

  • Starts tomorrow.
Not looked at fields yet for extra place or each way value, nor seen any offers but hopefully something crops up on both

At the very least it should provide some good liquidity and matches at reasonable odds to get more use out of the boosts on offer with hills/Ladbrokes.

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I was limited to 50 on Dartmouth, feel a bit better it might not be my account targeted now. Not laid yet and not going under 5 like I thought it would

Got a nice eway arb on the 2.25, hopefully not 2 non runners. Also had a small arb on extra place later
Worth keeping an eye on those and the 3.35 for small bits value. The 3pm and 4.15 will probably throw some small eway arbs on the outsiders later

    No worries Chris #bantz

Wooly/Chris, you will find that William Hill boost certain horses at 830 on ITV racing days, but will generally limit the bets on those. For example I have ungubbed account limited to 25 (sometimes 12.50 if odds are higher) and a gubbed one to 5. But bet on anything else and u will still be able to get your 200 on

Advice here would be take the value 5.5/5.3, as even £25 would be £15 FB if it wins by 2. Then save your boost for later

Good joined up thinking matchedem! I was in ‘boost’ mode, forgetting that it was the time of day when they do the additional boosts/pricewise selections

Laid at 5 now. Dartmouth, Thomas Hobson, Prince of arran 123 would be pretty good for me

Terrible start today, only £2.50 of one of my lay bets in the 1:55 got matched…ggggrrrrrrr….how I managed that I don’t frigging know!

If today isn’t too great, there are 5 meetings tonight with two of those being Irish meetings :)

Oh man that is painful. Underlayed Dartmouth there for £110 profit and loses by a nose on the line.

Jesus and I had Dal Harrild backed twice and laid Dartmouth…so lucky Dartmouth never won there.

Deep breathes and need to concentrate more here this is ridiculous haha

(that said I did have it at BF but went off at 11/4 anyway which always seems to happen with their 3/1 offer)

Punted £40 worth of free bets on Mix and Mingle £20 each way. Cant find anything else.

Betfair ew edge has been rubbish this week, they restrict me until an hour before the race but the back and lay odds are so far apart.

Need profitable to be well, profitable here

Just let the place part ride on an extra place bet as the odds tumbled just as I tried to lay off.

Bookies benefit today at York… all big price winners other than the fav in the last.

The 2 best backed horses of the day beaten on the nod.

If you were actually betting you would have lost a load.
