    There’s been some talk of acca’s and acca spreadsheets and how to calculate lay stakes for them on here recently, it’s a topic that seems to come up quite often.

    There are plenty of spreadsheets and online tools available now, but I though I’d make available one I designed some time ago. In essence, it doesn’t really do that much different to others I’ve seen, but it might offer a few more options/advantages:
    – it’s more succinct than others I’ve seen, you don’t need a separate sheet/set of calculations for acca’s with different numbers of legs
    – it offers a number of different strategies as options
    – you can use it to monitor up to a dozen running accas at a time
    – it’s got a simulation sheet so you can see what sort of variance you might encounter if you were to repeat the same (or similar) acca over and over (if you are not laying or you are adopting an approach which doesn’t guarantee profit).

    You will need Excel on your machine and it includes macro’s so your settings will need to allow these to run. That said, all of the key staking calculations are done by formulas in the main sheet. Also, it was designed for a widescreen monitor so you may want to adjust the zoom or some of the column widths to see it better on a smaller screen.

    As ever with these things, it’s offered with no warranty, express or implied, use at your own risk etc. (especially since it’s not idiot-proofed). There are some guide notes included, but some of it may need further explanation, so if anyone has questions just post them here and I’ll answer as soon as I can.

  • New to matched betting?

    My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

    OK, I’ll have a look.

    In the meantime, just enter the legs in sequence so that you don’t have to use the sort function 🙂

    No worries Blue.

    I make a copy of your original sheet so when this happens I just delete and make another copy and all seems fine then.

    I do save it as XLSM if that makes a difference

    Cheers mate

    @foreleft

    V5 posted!

    I’ve amended the sort button code, hopefully the error you’ve been getting won’t happen any more. Plus I’ve added some generic error handling in case of any further issues, should’ve done it in the first place, just lazy…

    Saving it as a .xlsm file shouldn’t make a difference.
