ACCA insurance

  • Hello guys!

I have read on several online forums about matched bettors making profit by using the “ACCA insurance” offers. This would be very profitable since the offer is on all the time. On Williamhill you can bet up to 50 pounds, there are no minimum odds and if the win-draw-win-accumulator (minimum of 6 selections) fails by one you will receive a refund of your stake. On PaddyPower the accumulator has to be at least 5 selections. I know it might seem difficult to do but I’m thinking if you place the accumulator on low odds matches on different days of the week it might not be too impossible. As long as you win at least 4 bets, you can secure a profit. Has anyone else thought about this?

    Cheers

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I see, if the initial acca was a £50 bet, do you underlay each game to cover your losses then over lay then the final match to ensure the profit or am I miles off

mike j – No that is not quite there.

The software and calculator are not mine. I have asked the person who made them to see if I can give example bets out so you can all see how it is done and profit from it, I will see what he says.

You can make about 14-24 percent of the stake on the bookie in profit.

14-24% that’s awesome, especially when considering Bookies love bettors to do accas and you wouldn’t get flagged as a matchedbettor easily with these

Dan87 – yeah i tend to lose with the bookie doing this and win in smarkets.

Must be over-laying from bet one then? Will sit down to try and work it out another time, hoping your mate is okay with sharing the formula though, would save a lot of effort.

This does work and it is a sure fire way to make consistent profits. Especially with the amount of bookies doing insurance offers. I will go into more detail when i get chance but you can consistently make £5-£10 profit on £50 accas (however i would reccomend starting with small stakes to get your head around it)

    There are two things that are needed for this to work however;
    – Close matches
    – Games must not be playing at the same time.

the software Andy is talking about basically finds these for you and saves a lot of time, but is not needed and people have been doing it manually for many months making a lot of money.

I will outline the most simple and basic method: 1) going for the refund
    – Find your close matches
    – Lay off each game one at a time.
    – As soon as one game loses, stop laying and hope it is the only one that lets you down.
    – Providing your liabilities from laying the games do not exceed your expected return from the free bet, you make a profit.

Now of course if some of you will understand that under/overlaying could lock in a profit no matter what happens and that’s the beauty and fun of accas.

Stims – Do you do this manually because i imagine you would take a long time to find the bets and work out the correct stakes to guarantee a profit.

This is clearly more complex than what we currently do on this website so it requires good explanation. I feel @stims is the man that will help us but it looks promising! It is a gamble in a way so you win some lose some but you should win over the long run!

Looking forward to building an excel to help us do them 😉

Andy i do do them manually and it doesn;t take as long as you think once you know what kind of matches to look out for.

Could we bang one together this week in this thread? All together as a group?

We have Everton v Palace tonight and then Champions league games and Europa league for the rest of the week.

    Any takers?

Dan87 – Everton match won’t work well as there is no odds-on favourite. The matches have to be at different times so you can only get 3 from the midweek games and the lowest acca insurance is 4 and this is best done at weekend.

Matchbetter – The simplest method that stims outlined is a bit of a gamble and will not always profit (only when one team in the acca loses) but you can do it so it always profits no matter the outcome.
