ACCA insurance

  • Hello guys!

I have read on several online forums about matched bettors making profit by using the “ACCA insurance” offers. This would be very profitable since the offer is on all the time. On Williamhill you can bet up to 50 pounds, there are no minimum odds and if the win-draw-win-accumulator (minimum of 6 selections) fails by one you will receive a refund of your stake. On PaddyPower the accumulator has to be at least 5 selections. I know it might seem difficult to do but I’m thinking if you place the accumulator on low odds matches on different days of the week it might not be too impossible. As long as you win at least 4 bets, you can secure a profit. Has anyone else thought about this?

    Cheers

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

@jexorf several threads were started at around the same time as this one if memory serves me correctly. Lots of people were kind enough to make available spread sheets to carry out the various calculations. Mark and Jez produced the most sophisticated one and many people use that now but I found it too awkward to lay off each leg so I only lay off the last one provided the other five have won. This means I don’t have to worry about the first five legs over lapping. I’m not sure if the links to the SSs in the various threads still work you will need to take a look.

The one I downloaded (cant remember who posted it) but it wasn’t the one that Mark and Jez produced, I have changed a lot, I understand what I have done to it, but I am not that good at doing spread sheets, and so to someone else it would appear a mess. It would therefore take me too long to try and explain to someone what it going on.

I have also introduced some other things into it that I would not want to make available on a public forum.

I don’t know how long you have been match betting for but after a while you will start to notice little inefficiencies in the betting market that you can exploit. If however these things become public knowledge they will probably quickly disappear.

Hopefully someone with a nice clear SS will post one up for you shortly.

I have access to a spreadsheet that I’m happy to share (it’s a fairly self explanatory one)

I don’t know how to share it on here though – if someone can tell me how then I’ll do it 🙂

If you have google or hotmail you can put it in the online drives and then share from there – otherwise you could upload it to a free file share site. I can’t recommend any as they are all blocked from work.

What trevman said pretty much. Just dont put it up as an editable spreadsheet but rather as a file we can just download a copy of, as otherwise people start to change things while its up there.

Found an easy upload site: http://www.wikisend.com

Click choose file > navigate to spreasheet and select it > hit properties > give it a name > click upload and wait for it to upload > copy and paste the download link it gives you on here 🙂
