Another one bites the dust…

  • Anyone else had a restriction from Coral after last nights promotion? Lesson learnt, opened the account at Xmas and only done promotions, too many bookies to mug bet with them all ha!

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Sad times Bob, especially for such a new account!

Did you win on last night’s promotion?
Have you won much on there since opening your account?
If so, have you withdrawn frequently?

Just curious to try and establish their logic, if that is possible!

I am currently £15 up since Boxing Day. That’s one win. And I actually lost last nights one. I understand the risks in this but frustrating that they don’t tell you prior to offering you the promotion, especially as I received an email regarding the promotion. I have never withdrawn from coral, only deposited.

Dam that’s harsh bob. I have had my account since September ish and I only ever done one mug bet and that was for one of the 365 offers

From what you’re saying it seems very cheeky to only find out once you’ve placed the qualifying bet. Seen a couple other mentions of this happening on twitter.

They said no betting intermediary (sp?) can do anything as its in their term that they can do that. No massive loss. Coral haven’t been the biggest earner. Lesson learnt, changing the way I operate now by being less greedy!

I got gubbed by them very early on in my matched betting career, but still use them for arbing. not limited so far, so they can still be quite a useful account.

If you’re only using them for promotions it’s not surprising.

Dan we all have not got time to mug bet every bookie, currently have 30 different bookie accounts, should we mug bet them all or just pick the main one’s which to be honest is not corals.Mug bet sky,paddy.bet365,laddies & hills and any others you get most out of.

Love a sweeping statement like that when someone has been restricted, read the forums enough people have been restricted who also mug a lot with a bookie

Looks like I’ve also been restricted. Not overly concerned, though I will be sending them some shit in the post, owing to my free bet not materialising.

Corals look as if they’ve the same business model as the Boylesports of this world – a few bets and a sign of taking up promotions or some wins means the likelihood of being mugged. No sad loss though – Corals are well off the pace these days. Even their betting shops are poor at the moment.

No free bet here either. No contact from them which is crap. How am I supposed to know I am properly restricted!

Hi, how do you find out that you have been restricted by Coral? Is there any email? I was expecting a 10pounds free bet but yet to receive it so is wondering whether I have been restricted also.
