Right an idea I got from oddsmonkey, we post the daily bad EW races on here with no chat or discussion, plenty of topics for that. Think this thread will help us all in case you don’t think it will just skip this please ?

Cant help thinking this is just a complicted way of trading. If the fav drifts you make money, if it shortens you don’t.

Absolutely raging at smarkets, am I the only one having serious problems today? Liquidity disappearing, reappearing and so on.

I’m £11 up there but should have been more if I didnt lose so much on Kodimoor because of liquidity issues. Also that £30 free bet lost earlier.

I gave up on Smarkets months ago….too flakey.

EW betting I’ve been trying to hit 4th for the last few weeks on extra place races and not hitting any.

Geebees just looking for a close match or even small arb. Literally changes minute by minute.

If your quick you’ll get on Pratsbury Park in the 1810 currently 3.75 + your boost laying at 3.55.

Sorry to ask this question. Been reading the whole thread but my mind is either blank or stupid. Bad E/W bet. Is it purely placing a bet on a horse/race which you think odds will later drop and then using Smarkets to make the against bet to make a profit?

Again sorry to ask this but struggling to grasp it.

The second favourite in the first race at Newbury is a decent Edge option on Betfair.

It is 2.75, which enhances to 3.25 (so an effective 1.45 in the 2 place market).

Little liquidity but it’s laying for 2.96 for the win and 1.33 in the 2 place market.

Why would you lay the place on a ew edge though? You’ve got a good price at 2.75 which is probably arb if it isnt already so just lay the full win and place stake on the win part for a free shot at second. Betfair have cut to 2.62 now though so anyone else looking to get on that needs to hope the lay comes in to 2.62 as well.

Taken Fly Du Charmil 26.0 at Leovegas so far. Only 30 ew stakes on this race for me. Looking to get on Mere Ironmonger too but can forget the rest.

What are you laying Fly Du Charmil at… it’s currently 170.0 ?
