Right an idea I got from oddsmonkey, we post the daily bad EW races on here with no chat or discussion, plenty of topics for that. Think this thread will help us all in case you don’t think it will just skip this please ?

Well considering I had 8 horses covered and am only £56 up, that was absolute turd.

General theme for these big races, forget the middle of the market and lump on the outsiders each way.

Could have been worse…… Due to greed, stupidity and poor maths I lost £200 in the 1205 Doncaster. Expensive lesson.

That’s about 60 more than me chris. How did u do fog?

I had 1st and 2nd but for some reason had layed the 4 win part on 1st. Managed about 5.50 on whisper so was nearly a reasonable return.

Shame vyta De roc and a couple others didn’t come anywhere as I had 3 with reasonable stakes and the ideal place arb plus 5th place big potential

Well I punted the best value on about 15 horses on bet365. Had almost €150 on. I was a bit light on the favs (didn’t think bet365 had the best value on them) so I covered 20 ew on the eventual winner at will and 10 ew on American at 10bet. Both were decent value.

So it worked out okay. Got 70 back from places on 365 and nice payout on the winner at will. Would have been a little better off if American won or made it to the places at least, had a few more max punts on him at sky and got on at 365 with him eventually when the value looked better as the exchange price crashed. Anyway a bit of a profit so won’t complain.

I didn’t lay anything because I had so much covered and just small stakes.

I’m not saying Enigma. Massive rookie error that I’m too embarrassed to describe! I was trying out a new theory and didn’t spot the flaw! Now I realise I’ve made the same mistake before but in my year off I’d forgotten….

I got greedy. I’m back with only a £1k bank and trying to win big(ish) like I did before with a £6k bank. Won £700 in my first week and since then lost £300 with poor discipline trying to continue winning big.

Need to remember that £30 a day average profit is £1k a month which I’d be really happy with. Stop chasing big wins and start ticking over.

£400 profit in 3 weeks is ok for now. Expensive lesson learned. Time to get back in the game. Onwards.

Also a couple of 5 horse races that look like they will be good once the market forms properly.
