Smarkets, of course, is failing to match on the place.

That is irritating. I was hoping to get involved with the 1515 Exeter.

I flicked into SMarkets to see what they had there. Absolutely sod all liquidity. Literally nothing in the place market except on the favourite. Shower of shite!

I only wanted to go on betfair to cross check for value in the 3.15. Can’t even do that on smarkets, odds are all over shop with pitiful liquidity.. How are people trading bad ew on there?!

Got some small punts on Shadow Blue 26.0, How about it 41.0 and Kayf Charmer 51.0 in this 3.45.

Geoff Banks must been a good boy this. All his wishes re exchanges seem to have come true

logged in 3.15 to try and place first bet of day. Betfair aside the liquidity on the others was a joke. Horses in the 20s at bookies backing at 1.4 or laying at 40.
Although I recall some moments just before Christmas last yr where smarkets was completely empty of money, shows how a minority prop up their markets.

A big on course bookie, with a small online presence. Big traditionalist with a big mouth- so doesn’t like exchanges, offers, or matched bettors and likes to get that across in the media.

When the 8.45 at Cheltenham goes to 4 places on Bet365 there will (probably) be some really good value but there’s no way of knowing what’s value if Betfair is down..

Looks like the prices at Smarkets are mainly driven by the price at Betfair…. So no Betfair means no Smarkets liquidity…

For all the criticism of Betfair being greedy maybe they actually earnt the right to be as today seems they almost are the market. The Overround and gaps on smarkets seem crazy
… although a trading opportunity maybe

Reports online of bookmakers ramping up their overrounds, and even a course bookie packing up because of Betfair absence at towcester – all unconfirmed though

u should blamed predictive text,I nearly ended up with Worcester not towcester

better see if I can place some bets today really!

hopefully Betfair double up on the cash race payout, would be a fair way of compensating users for their use of site. Freebet would be completely useless for most of us
