  • Right an idea I got from oddsmonkey, we post the daily bad EW races on here with no chat or discussion, plenty of topics for that. Think this thread will help us all in case you don’t think it will just skip this please ?

    I use the e/w thing sometimes on BF. Esp if its close to race time and the sums are tricky!

    ew tab comes in handy to get you out of the mire with a drifter. Not profitable compared to traditional way unless it’s a winner. Useful if no time to get bet on.

    How does the ew tab help you with a drifter Sleepless?

    I quite like the way the ew tab skews the profit so that you get more if the horse wins.. The time/calculation thing is the main benefit for me though.. I use Betfair anyway so the main negative for me is that if there’s a critical non-runner then making any sort of correction is a pain!

    Gone for a couple in the 4.25 Down Royal. Long Tide and Cairn Hill both 25/1.

    Had some on the outsiders in the 3.35 Chelmsford too, hopefully no NR. Monitoring 2nd fave, bit of a gap on the win price atm.

    335 chelms? 5 runners
    425 down royal
    440 newcastle 8 runners

    Preety good BETFRED boost on AYR double 2.05 and 335 favs at 4/1 trading at around 7/2

    Ardean Lass traded at 1.4
    Behind the lines down to 1.04
    Sweet as Candy (the winner) went odds on to 30.0 to around evens to 25 then odds on out to 10 then back in…..

    On earlier but Silverturnstogold 3:35 continues to be nibbled in on exchange, still plenty of 66s and some 80s about.

    Crispy – just my experience. ew tab odds have gotten me at break-even with drifters couple of times. Of course you cant have already fully laid anything unless you can trade out.

    Just depends on odds – worth checking odds if you right in it.
