Bad EW Races NO CHAT

  • Right an idea I got from oddsmonkey, we post the daily bad EW races on here with no chat or discussion, plenty of topics for that. Think this thread will help us all in case you don’t think it will just skip this please ?

    I would save McBookie in case you happen to move house. Since I moved, I’ve had an account with them open for 3 weeks and no problems at all. That said, haven’t used it a lot as the bad ews have seriously dried up in January.

    The 3.25 is a tough one.

    Babytangle hasn’t completed a race this season so I would expect that 16/1 to drift rather than come in. Judge Judy might be worth taking at 66/1 at Hills.

    Seems not all traders are equal…. just tried to place a bet on Babbytaggle at BV

    £40ew – offered £15. Instead off pressing accept I re-entered the £15 (I’ve been stung before where they took my full stake at lower odds)

    The £15ew was re-offered at £4

    I then placed it at again at £40 to try and get the £15….

    which was accepted.

    Lesson I think is that if you think you are not going to get your full stake on place a higher bet than you actually wanted (and cross your fingers it isn’t accepted).

    BetVictor and bookies will often take different liabilities at different times of the day. Did you try before 10am and then again successfully after 10am? For me, I could never get any bets on at BV on my way in to work on my phone but once I had sat down at my desk, logged on, they would accept big stakes after 9am.

    Hills are sometimes the same, stakes can massively increase after 11am.

    Follow Chris’s advice- you’ll last about 90 seconds if already closed with victor and try to open at mcbookie

    And I think a bit of both on the above. Racing def eases with the proper bookies at times approaching race

    But the traders do have a degree of discretion which seems random. Takes me ages to use freebets at unibet as they seem to only have 1 trader that realises their job isn’t just to reject all bets and lower the odds

    Had abit on Judge Judy at 66s too, although looks like i’ve suffered further restrictions at Hills after couple of wins yday. Will try top up later.

    Haha Unibet are such an odd bunch. Gubbed and restricted me but constantly send me free bet promotions to entice me back. These are often £50-100 and take me an absolute age to get through because of the restrictions. At least its just added as a bonus balance rather than a one off free use it or lose it bet.

    A nice arb showing on Rosemarys Russet in the 225 with Sporting at 4/1 trading 4.4 (took 5/1 ew earlier with 365) and maybe some ew value on Inch cala 25/1 bfred(took 28s earlier)
