Right an idea I got from oddsmonkey, we post the daily bad EW races on here with no chat or discussion, plenty of topics for that. Think this thread will help us all in case you don’t think it will just skip this please ?

I think he is referring to me. Yesterday I posted about winning a couple of times on the Betway Lead at Last offer, a roundabout way of saying that it’s quite a good offer (my bet’s weren’t even targeting it).
What does it matter if it’s 310 pages? Only the 20 most recent posts are relevant anyway. This is where people generally chat about what they are doing on a day to day basis, next week it will probably be in the Cheltenham forum , the following week back to here. If you have chat in more than one place people tend to miss anything that crops up.

Yeah you tend to do it most but its a general comment about the thread and I did hold my hands up and say I did so in the past.
I actually thought I was making a good point and a request politely, its the responses that have been full of sarcasm so if anyone has “got out on the wrong side of the bed” its those who have been offended over nothing.

+0@bbobb , the thing is you make 20 posts a day and 17 of them are about gambling, no one is interested in punting its a match betting forum. Fair enough some calculated risk is required on certain forms of betting but your an outright gambler for the most part it seems, in fact your last post in the kwiff forum is encouraging gambling , people don’t want to read that sort of stuff and no one cares if you’ve lost on the fav boost but punted on the 2nd fav for a nice win etc etc any mug can do that. The posts should be about helping people make a few quid risk free or with limited risk or with +ev risk not just a constant read through punted my bet and won whoo hoo, didn’t bother laying boom, etc etc.

And my last post on the Kwiff thread was a joke…. most people with with half a brain would have realised that.

It’s that balance between the endless useless stuff and chat that’s relevant.I admit I ramble a lot rather than post each way stuff, but try to keep something relevant to compensate!
Whilst I haven’t put up much direct use for ages I’ll be on the look at for each way value at Cheltenham when I get chance, and observing how the course odds work out on the Tues.
Whilst this forum isn’t very active those that post tend to be smart and looking to learn. Which I think is where we all do well…… and generally get along ;-)

Why dont I create a general chat thread? Because it doesnt really interest me, I respond to some of the questions etc on that dedicated section of the forum but my main interest is this one. I come here to share and receive tips on bad ew races and my suggestion was simply to keep this thread on point and on that relevant subject as its been slightly hi-jacked in the last couple of months. Those of you against my suggestion didnt need to get all wound up the way you did.

The irony is that the NO CHAT thread has never been anything else other than chat.
Pick a random page and read through it. First one I picked was Page 22, first post on the page…

Thats exactly the kind of response I am referring to.
How about you create the chat thread? I mean, given that you dont post any tips here because you’re paranoid that bookies are watching this dead forum but will still come here and take our tips, it would probably suit you the most.
But anyway, fine if the general concensus is to keep this as a chat thread, not really anything I can do about it anyway.

+0I’m not paranoid, I just don’t see the need to post exact details which make it fairly easy to identify accounts. It’s a bit ike Pascals wager (+EV to behave as if the bookies are watching this site).
I post plenty of tips if I see them after I get my lays in. But it’s a fairly pointless exercise as most people are gubbed at different bookies and have restrictions at others, most of the decent bets and arbs are only available for a couple of minutes anyway.
I’m only really looking to see what races to look out for (and a bit of chat).

I agree steve, it is like having the big dog back.
Someone who only announces their bets after the event, is happy to take everyone elses tips, brags about profits then takes any challenge personally and responds with hostility. Does sound awfully familiar.

Yep on Charlie at 26.0 too, hes being tipped up for a place so hopefully that 26.0 will shorten.
Also got on Robin, drifted out to 21.0.
