Right an idea I got from oddsmonkey, we post the daily bad EW races on here with no chat or discussion, plenty of topics for that. Think this thread will help us all in case you don’t think it will just skip this please ?

Thks @sharbster – with 5 runners I guess this can be quite profitable but with the larger fields it’s more difficult to turn a profit!

Yeah as Sharbster said anything with a low QL loss (with the occasional bog making up for some qls) As many horses as poss but I really target the shortest price 1’s and smaller fields. Dream race would be 5 runners with 2 short price and 3 outsiders and load on multiple shops €20 max on the top 2.

As for the fb tickets its same as online fbs ieno stakes rwturned and no bonus offers come into play when using them. They also have varying expiry dates printed on the vouchers ranging from 1 week to 1 year (I found this out to my cost yesterday when I reliased 3 of my many vouchers had expired and become useless!)

As for being profitable of course it is! any race with a close match is free money in the long run. Hitting 7/8 shops is racking me up comfortably over €100 prof av daily

Cheers Scabadab – I think I shall have to give this a go – there are quite a few shops within 2- 3 miles of where I am – will be good exercise on the bike and hopefully reasonably profitable

Is the MBS offer limited to £20 for each race – for some reason I had it in the back of my mind as being £50 – probably me being over optimistic!

20per race per customer unfortunately. Lads have a 5-1 offer. Bet a 5-1winner or better at a,selected meeting and get a freebet25.

Thks Setara – one last thing – do they advertise somewhere in shop on which meeting the MBS is being offered or do you have to ask the staff behind the counter? – could doing the latter give you away as being a sharp punter with the risk of being banned?

Nice High5 in the last at MR…. Boosted fav pulls a few lenghts clear in the last 100yds but they were going so slow it’s given as 5L

Was on Quest for Life in that race, really hoped it would win as price drifted so ended up £40 down

Advertised in shop tennis punter. Sometimes they pull you if they cop on to the fact you are backing multiple horses in the same race…..
