Right an idea I got from oddsmonkey, we post the daily bad EW races on here with no chat or discussion, plenty of topics for that. Think this thread will help us all in case you don’t think it will just skip this please ?

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

After slim pickings for a while there is some hope tomorrow throws a few decent shots up. Early look has these my radar as possibles
Hexam 1.50 (9 R)
Hexam 4.55 (6R)
NA 2.00 (11R)
NA 3.00 (9R)
NA 4.30 (5R)
PF 5.45 (16RH)
WINS 4.50 (16RH)
WINS 6.20 (8R)
WINS 7.20 (16RH)
NAV 4.25 (5R)A lot of these will prob throw up little and sadly all the big handicaps currently all have exactly 16 runners!. But after the recent slim pickings should be a decent few in there somewhere hopefully!
+0A+ for effort – thanks!
Quite a few nice edge options in the 5.45 Pontefract… Starboy at 6.5 and The Knot is Tied at 21.0 both decent options (based on current exchange odds) to reduce down to two places..
Haven’t checked any of the other races yet.
+0No worries Mr C. Prob a bit over hungry listing a few of those races on that long list! (also a lot of races on the edge of becoming no good with field sizes). But after somewhat of a drought my eyes lit up a bit when seeing tomorrows list and even a 8/9 RR with a fav below evens has started to look tasty!.
Should be a few decent shouts in there (will look at those u mentioned shortly cheers) and if nothing else I will be able to mix up my in shop mb2 bets with some low risk/profit making bad e/w bets as well as trying to get some online stuff placed early doors.
+0General Allenby 67.0/55.0 at paddys in 3pm Newton Abbot.
+0Drought? DROUGHT?
Last week was an absolute bumper week for each way betting. I feel like the 16+ runner handicaps are really underated on here, rarely get a mention. Cheltenham was exceptional especially on the Wednesday with the two big handicaps basically printing money. Of course, as I always say, you need to get on the night before. No point ignoring a 20/1 price and then taking it at 16/1 the next morning.
There were also at least two bad each way races that were exceptionally good because of the favourite drifting, I see one of them was posted here and some wins made on Pointed and Sharp.
Saturday was the Scottish National which again, if you took the early prices especially on the top 6-7, you would have made a fair whack like I did.
Last week was one of my most profitable weeks this year, only beaten by Cheltenham and Aintree.
Of course, if you were only looking at the Newmarket festival, there was no risk free money to be made there, early flat season is always a bit rubbish, the Chester festival will be where the money is made.
+0Regarding todays races, nothing really appeals to me and I would stay well away from those risky 5, 8 or 16 runner races at Windsor. Remember the risk is doubled with horses going in to stalls.
P.S Great to see the threads seperated out on here finally. Was long overdue.

Nothing overly exciting but still some bits and pieces to work with, will probs end up with a handful of bets on. Rowdy Robin 20/1 various in 1:50 Hexham.
+0Hi Chris,
What do you go off when choosing your horses the night before? Is it just gut instinct?
+0With the 16+ handicaps, its just load up as much as possible the night before on the best prices. I tend to go for prices that stand out i.e only one bookie offering it or/and a price that is perfectly matched/arbing at smarkets. Form tends to go out of the window even though with handicaps the theory is that the horses will finish in perfect order of the market betting.
+0Glad to hear theres been some good stuff last week or so. Been busy doing shop bets and neglected other meets a bit-‘was relying on this thread! But hadnt seen much info coming in.Need to improve on returns on the 16+ Hs(something I dont focus enough on)
Great info hopefully there will be 1/2 today. The PF one is already ruled out sadly down to 15R
+0Towton 28/1 Hills in 4.40 Ponte. Taken Ballynarry Lady at 40s there too.
+0I’m looking at the Newton Abbot 15:00. It’s mathematically the one most over broke on the place prices and 9 runners.
I think it’s an example where my scientific algorithm for spotting bad ew fails. Sure it’s over broke by a lot but the make up of the race isn’t ideal, ie you won’t get a big price on the first 4 in the market and the long shots probably won’t get a look in for the places because there are 4 strong runners that will lock them out. So you won’t get a small price on the to place market on exchange to arb against the price ew bookie price……
Only small bit of value there at the moment on like torrent des mottes and rooster cogburn. I think 29.0 on Allenby will also emerge as value and may be the best bet at a longer price than the other two.
+0Good post fog. Got some on torrent as it was a very small ew arb at time of bet
+0No other thread to put this in so I will stick it here…. never bet on the away team in Nigerian football.

“‘Ive learned about his recently and decided to research it a bit. Basically travelling, home fans and corrupted refs are main reason for this. In one instance player intentionally missed late game penalty for an away team because home fans told him they would murder him after the game. Match fixing is one of other things, where refs would call everything for home team. In some instances they got beaten up by home fans after the game. As far as I’ve learned home team also picks up referees as you have to beg people up there to do it. Also in 2013 4 clubs got banned for life after their scores were 79-0 and 67-0 respectively. Both of home teams had same number of points and needed better goal difference for a promotion. So after going 7-0 and 6-0 at half time, they proceeded to score 72 and 61 in second half.”
+0Allenby was 66s at paddys this morn. Couldn’t get nothing of any note on though.
