Right an idea I got from oddsmonkey, we post the daily bad EW races on here with no chat or discussion, plenty of topics for that. Think this thread will help us all in case you don’t think it will just skip this please ?

Standout price @ 29, most other bookies paying between 17-21 with Sky and Betvictor sitting at 23 and Boyle at 26.

Took Whisky Sour @ 21 last night at bet365 so a nice value bet there . Was nearly on Ordinary World @ 40s but Laddies decided to drop their odds while I was placing the bet to 29

Don’t get too carried away on the standout price theory though as a generic rule. Doesn’t always mean arbs, especially on the 3 place 8+runner picks and where you might be guessing how the market will form.

Special tiara was laying at 32 so a small loss on the win, then almost a big arb on the place part already

Yep. As Cliff says it was a much bigger price at paddys/bfair than everywhere else and was laying for small bits slightly under that on the exchange at the time.

I remember Special Tiara beating Douvan at Cheltenham last year, that was a great bad ew race!

Yep, I remember that v well

Sadly I was fully laying the win at that point rather than leaving a small underlay, the place arb was big though.

Saxo Jack risky in Ludlow 2pm. Took him at 21 at small stakes. Still showing value at 17.0.

I think I made more from Sir Valentino placing than I did from Special Tiara winning.

I also paid an insane amount of commission, which was entirely my own fault, I used Betfair and was laying in win, each way and place markets.

I will of course be ignoring the Punchestown Festival.

2.55 Yarmouth looks good, could do with a non-runner but should be something there.

2.00 Ludlow is high risk as FoG states.

4.35 Huntington is a strange one. Looks great but far too many runners.

agh bwin put silly restrictions on me

got a few ‘spam bets’ across the 2 races on 365, and a decent bet on whisky sour with the place to lay.

probably as much as I can afford to get involved time wise
