  • Right an idea I got from oddsmonkey, we post the daily bad EW races on here with no chat or discussion, plenty of topics for that. Think this thread will help us all in case you don’t think it will just skip this please ?

Cheers! unlucky m8. I always check on the ew tab to see how the price is lining up on shortish ew shots ( although me maths aint too bad!) .Lucky there it stayed at 8 as I had backed cruncher early doors when it was 9R! ( Was a small ew/arb at the time and tipped up in racing post- so a decent chance some punt more money would come for it)

Yeah that Cork looks a possible small bad ew and there about just 2 other races with a fav around evens and 8/9 runners which might have a scrap of value. With a few 16+ handis floating around (most of which are on the cut off in runners) It looks a cagey day to keep tabs on and squeeze out a few nuggets!

Cant believe no one posted up on here about the 330 salsbury earlier, I was busy out n about in the shops but ended up with 2 nice e/w arbs there( not huge! but dec-neither of them made the frame sadly- extra shame as I had mb2 value on them also!)

200 Newbury & 330 York tomorrow. risky and small pickings at best. I’ll wait till close to off time on those to see if theres some scraps

Sums up my day with extra places. Did Lancaster Bomber and Deauvile one came 3rd the other 5th. Arrgh couldn’t hit a 4th all day.

16.30 at Ripon (only 8 runners), you can have 9.0 on Mokhles at the moment with Betfair, which looks very generous.

There are three 4 place 1/4 odds races at Limerick too.

    Excellent 3

Even if it drops to 7 runners Mokhles would still probably bring in a profit. I’m on Gift of Raaj @ 5 and Mokhles @ 9 . Mokhles can also be edged to 13 on 2 places.

Mokhles for me too. Do you guys still lay this with BF exchange (When backing on the SB)?

I also took Gift of Raaj at 5.0 with Hills.

I’ve done it before but I wouldn’t lay a Betfair SB bet on (the same account’s) Betfair exchange.

I get the point that Betfair probably aren’t going to care/notice but, why take the chance…

Fair point Mr Crispy. I’ll use Smarkets unless it drops to 2 places which is when I would prob chance it. It just always seems that the prices/liquidity is so much better on BF.

Only have the one set of accounts.

Fair point Ali – liquidity and the 2 place market would both be reasons to chance it!

I managed to lose £100 a couple of weeks ago as I was trying lay an Edge bet on Smarkets, I had my lay queued at 14.0 on Smarkets, the Betfair exchange had cash available to lay at 13.0 but it never came to Smarkets.

And now Mokhles a non runner

I’ve also had similar issues with Smarkets. Other than when backing on the SB I think I’d rather pay 5% and know that I can get my lay on/matches.

And there goes Mokhles as a NR!

Just pondering is it still worth doing gift of raaj… just hoping he don’t hit 3rd.

Im not so sure myself. Dived in on him at 10/3 without reliasing the bf ew is for 3 places. Might end up crossing the fingers and also hoping he dosnt hit the 3rd!
Mught be worth doing at boyles with their mb2 to fav offer- maybe worth waitiing to see how the prices devolop with the lay/2tp markets
Saw the prices and ew lay(wrong) this mornong and was planning to 5 boyle shops- not so sure atm!!
