My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

    Here’s a rookie question….

Stalls – is it as simple as flat races have them and jumps do not?

    Yep simple as that.

With a few rare exceptions. Very occasionally for some flat races they will have a flag start (tends to be over a marathon trip). And bumpers (NH Flat races) do not use stalls.

I see the jockey on Bartle Hall got a couple of days ban for overusing the whip, amazing the difference it makes when they are trying to win.

Yeah, stalls arent used for distances more than 2 miles which is quite rare on the flat. I guess with sprint races and in the interests of fairness all horses need to start in a straight line whereas over the jumps, you get pace setters and tactical thinking jockeys.

    Couldnt resist the 6.50.

    On Superstition and Sussex Solo.

Arbs not fantastic but potential £40 or £50.

Chelmsford 15:20 could have some value

    Chelmsford 2.20 a beauty (until there’s a NR).

    The 3.20 looks good..

The 2.20 is interesting too, only 8 runners though. I’ll probably leave it alone.

The 3.20 is a cracker, so many big prices there, dont even need a non runner.

2.20 is indeed beautiful but 8 runners. Not sure we’ll get lucky two days in a row. Despite being a newcomer, Via Del Volte is being tipped up for a place almost everywhere you look. 23 at Hills.

Likewise Calling the Wind being tipped up for a place in the 3.20 as a newcomer.

Well Mr Betfred didn’t like that big win yesterday, restricted to £2.04 on Calling the Wind.

That was my longest lasting original account from way back in 2015. Sad to see it go but opening another tonight.

That just goes to show how (with a bit of luck) you can make an account last if you’re careful with it.

My current Betfred account (which is now restricted to peanuts) was only opened a couple on months ago. I did a few normal bets and then went straight into ew arbing.. I wasn’t that fussed about account preservation so just did whatever I wanted..
