    I’m not sure I’d be taking 1.93 in a Novice Handicap on average hurdler that has never been over jumos before.

    Team Skelton are in red hot form right now so thats a factor. Also the horse won by 12 lengths over a more difficult trip last time out so I would be lumping loads on him if it was High 5.

    Joy turns to despair when I realised I had Lee Side at 3 places instead of 4.

    A few quid unlaid on Mrs Choice saves crap result.

    Couldn’t be more annoying… had 3rd and 5th at Ladbrokes paying 4 places. Had 4th at Paddy paying 3.

    Luck had to run out some time I guess.

    Bit painful as Georgina Joy was one I had my eye on as the price steamed in a little earlier and I could have taken Mirs Choice 41/38 at Hills too.

    I’m not surprised the favourite won, just how short a price it was for a 3 mile handicap chase.

    Just back a couple in the 8.35 going for extra place.

    Hit 1st and 3nd at 40.0s and 20.0s

    Winner took a massive drift just after I backed it at 25.0 so looking at a £20 loss on it. Ended up with about a £300 BOG bonus.
