Right an idea I got from oddsmonkey, we post the daily bad EW races on here with no chat or discussion, plenty of topics for that. Think this thread will help us all in case you don’t think it will just skip this please ?

evening all, can anyone advise why betfair would be 3 places on 18.20 hamilton and sm and mb are 2 places

Never seen that before.. the Betfair exchange should be 2 places too…

Wow looks like Betfair have paid out Jordan Electrics as a winner in their place market, despite it coming third in a 6 runner race. Surely there will be complaints.

Would have been about 200up from that race but ended up with a 30 loss thanks to betfair

Yeah I just happened to notice when checking ew tab and noticed 3 place, live chat could offer no explanation on it

Easy to miss that… maybe Betfair will refund those that laid Jordan Electrics as a goodwill gesture, seems to be pretty harsh otherwise…

I noticed it said 3 places when I checked the rules and I only checked because I couldn’t believe the lays. Anyhow, I put a back bet on to cancel my lay bet as a small loss and then transferred my lay bet to smarkets. Still an overall winner but it did confuse me. And still is confusing.
The lay prices were comparable.

Could have been a lot worse for me if one of the shorter odds horses placed. I was happily arbing big bucks between smarkets and betfair on the place market

Probably a mistake but will hill have 1/4 odds 2 places on market rasen 1:35. 4 runners, couple of long priced horses in there.

Some ok races for backing the favourite and 2nd favourite ew..

In the 2.10 at Stratford – Romanor is 6.0 with B365 right now, ew tab laying at 5.1 (Edit – out to 5.5 now)
