Right an idea I got from oddsmonkey, we post the daily bad EW races on here with no chat or discussion, plenty of topics for that. Think this thread will help us all in case you don’t think it will just skip this please ?

Yeah cheers Mr Crispy the 420 is certainly a target race for me today (mb2fav boyles + prob PP shops with hopefully 0 ew qls/arbs on 1 or 2)

Liquidity, if it even exists for that 4.20 race will be abysmal on anything other than the favourite, we saw that in a UK race last week where the 6/1 second fav never went below 15 at the exchange against a 1/9 favourite.
Better off trading at the exchange on the place market. Geoffreys Girl for example can be bought for 1.7 and logically the eventual lay should be a lot lower.
Either way, I’m going no where near it. Probably get some 500/1 shot steaming in for second or something crazy.

The Sky bet guarantee applied to each way when I tried on the first day but the following day I found it would let me only win about £230 which, although rubbish, was a lot better than my usual full on restrictions.
Like William Hill, I think they reigned back on it.

Yes the two races I want to look at today the prices are terrible at the moment.
Maybe this is what the new Guarantee Lay to Win £500 era will look like, they give with one hand and take away with the other.

Both have crap odds too but could be value close to the off on the favs if you can get a close match on the win.

Hills scratch of the day for me is 5 places in the 3.35.
+0You need to be carefull with that, it’s first bet only. And if your initial bet get’s rejected for too high a stake it reverts to top 3 (I had to go on Live Chat to confirm my first bet was ok).
I stupidly placed a couple last night at limited stakes and didn’t notice that the 2nd was 3 places only.

Sky have Balaclava at 101.0 to place in the 4.20. Next best is 15.0 with Lads/Coral.
Not really a tip because if you’re account isn’t restricted, betting on that will probably result in instant restrictions but it still amazes me that their place odds can be so out of line.

I know, I read the terms carefully as I needed to check it was ok to use Betboost with it.
I went £20 ew on Get The Rhythm 37.76/32 (yes I know the place payout is on non-boosted odds only).
If the place odds dont come in below 7, I’ll let it run as its only £20.
Wont be betting anything else on that race, nothing there in my opinion other than extra places (and even 5 places isnt overly generous with 19 runners)
