Bad EW Races NO CHAT

  • Right an idea I got from oddsmonkey, we post the daily bad EW races on here with no chat or discussion, plenty of topics for that. Think this thread will help us all in case you don’t think it will just skip this please ?

    Andy, when you said “Debrouillard as well at 7.5 looks good in the 2.35” what was it laying for? When I looked it was 6.6 for the win and 2.1 for the place. Was it arbing when you posted or did you have a sense it would improve closer to the off?

    I’m still trying to figure out what kind of stakes/liability/returns some of these bets require. For that one it looked to me like a £50 E/W bet would require £360 on the exchange and only return £1.7 profit.

    I’m curious if I’m missing a piece here

    Yeah not technically a bad ew race. My angle going small stakes and letting the place run should be ok as long at it stays at 8rs, with place value is higher than on the exchange.

    Didn’t appear to be any reason to go ew in that race in the last hour- fraction at best (less than commissions prob) with very negative bet if it does happen to go below 8

    so are you talking about say a £10 e/w bet @ 7.0, laying the win £10.50 @ 6.6 and then just taking a punt that the £10 you staked on the place at effective odds of 2.2 comes in?

    Sorry for all the q’s, I’m just trying to join the dots and make sure I’m not missing something. To me that doesn’t seem too far off just backing the place on the exchange

    Hi Ally, i’m approaching this race differently as it’s not really a bad e/w race, looking for value in letting the place run on small stakes, technically gambling!!ha 😂

    Nice one Tony. I’m traveling about with the misses for a few days so struggling🙃 to get time in shops/online. Could see today had a few oks so I’m getting on it now for next few hours👍

    Good start to the naps in the 205 with no prof🙃- Legal Thriller 20/1 off at a very big place arb (sp 10/1) The profs will all come out in the wash👍
