    Yes I did! thanks for pointing that out MRM. Still an ok small arb with a boost and 1/4 odds 3 places but not not what it said on the tin. Got mixed up with betfred whoare paying 4 places there and it was 14/1 also there…sorry about that one…on a plus it is arbing atm if all 12r

    quick breakdown Deej for why 18-1 on Recon was excellent value. say you did $20 each way at 18-1. the win was laying 21.0 and the 4 place market at worst 4.4. You could lay the win for $18 and the place in full for a small 4 to place arb. At worst you will be down $2. If its hits 5th place you will profit about $90 or so. A $2 loss at worst risk for a shot of $90 profit. In effect you are getting at least around 45-1 for your $2 ‘risk’. In a field like this with those sets of different priced horses/ amount of runners an 18-1 has a much higher % of cracking the 5th place than the percived small loss that it finishes below 5th. A top 4 spot with leave a small profit also. Great overall value for next to no ‘risk’

    Dont wanna put the kiss of death on Coco the bear! but is he heading into monster territory at the 16.7 boosted early doors price? Might be doing a rare place overlay to lock in a good start- if he stays around this price/comes in more. Hopefully Patsy can at least nibble in a bit also

    I’m now in a dilemma – guarantee my profit on the steamer that is Coco or underlay him all the way to double up should be place. He has a great place chance I guess?

    Locked in a small profit on both win and place in Patsy – don’t fancy the place odds coming in much more if at all. All well and good but one less horse to get excited about during the race!
