Bad EW Races NO CHAT

  • Right an idea I got from oddsmonkey, we post the daily bad EW races on here with no chat or discussion, plenty of topics for that. Think this thread will help us all in case you don’t think it will just skip this please ?

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Very unlike me to do so but I decided to gamble on taking an in-play place lay on Willingly. Think I was just a bit pissed at looking at a 9/4.5 arb this morning and then seeing 9/7-8 close to the off. Got my 4.5 price matched to cover a small loss on the win and left the rest in. Luckily ended up about £50

Dont like inplay laying myself…esp on places…place prices swing too fast and are normally way off true value

A bit of form goes a long way in these novices races. Might have a been about a mile behind the winner but 3rd = £

If a horse arb dosnt really make sense…like that Unwillingly.. then early arb lays often best option…
Not that I do that myself much lol…Always in search on a monster! but still often the best call…Think I recommened it on that horse earlier

Think you could be right about bookies looking over our shoulder Scabba. I think my restricted PP account might have been flagged, because whenever I get on something that price seems to be cut almost immediately afterwards.

Was in a good position on another one my dodgy speculation selections this morning. Took Mr Coco Bean in the 7:30 Chester @21 with PP but never got to post it up as the price was cut to 15 straight away. Exchange has been slowly coming down to 13 (was around 10-11 at bookies last time I looked) – Bloody horse just been withdrawn!!

I think I do tend to see less outsiders steaming in in these bad EWs than I do in the EPRs. Definitely why I lay the win as early as possible in bad EWs.

The bookies tend be a lot slower at increasing their odds in a race like this (and sometimes just don’t) because of the place value they are giving away.

Could well be MRM…And some kind of ‘enigma’ code for posts/spots if possible to apply could be worth considering!
perhaps if a horse numbering stytem from 1-24 was changed in pre sent code…meaning number 4 was say really no 8….bookie names were altered like 365 is pp- boyles is lads etc
Then a post of no 8 in arb race of the day 2 is a terrible price atm at boyles
Would really mean no 4 in arb race 2 is a good price at Ladbrokes atm…Confusing but food for thought!

Scabba, completely agree with in-play markets. I just set the price before the off (on Betfair) and set it to keep the bet in the market in-play. Annoyingly Smarkets automatically cancels any unmatched bets once the race starts (unless there’s a way to keep them in that I don’t know about).

Smarkets drive me mad and im in the process of getting back with the miles better Betfair.

No doubt at least Paddys are tuning in here/my naps thread. Another crazy example just in- Tipped a womens boxing match up this morning- of all things!- 4 days away- Rachel Ball 21/10- Paddy have in those 10/12 hours since that tip/post done an amazing cut on such a obscure match up from 21/10 to 5/4! Got paddies on the run- this desperate cut has opened up solid arbitage locks in on that match of about 11% on stakes as it stands now…Cant tell me there has been a flood of money on such a low key event to cause that cut (maybe im under estimating the trust/dosh levels of the Scabba army!) But more likely PP are tuning in and running from the Scabba/Dapper Napper team and on this thread from the arby army…

Giz a job Paddy I can do that Giz a job!

Not really , will never turn turn to the darkside of the force!

Yeah in response to the increasing odds on bad each way drifting horses MRM- very rare any BOG coming in them atm…Gotta be mindfull to lay off any drifters pretty quick as best as poss in the low level Bad eway stuff atm..

Gonna have to be careful to try and not let any traders sneak in my subscribtion thing in the future….If they are spotted they will be charged 50x as much as Im not planning to their jobs for them…
Will have to try tracking software to make sure no subs are coming in from any Bookie hqs! (if thats even possible/legal!)
