Yes mate i would have done the same but after Monday and Tuesday i was more adverse to letting a few things run. Got away with it. That late withdrawal was a joke.
Whats this matchedem commission thing? Dont think i was around when that story broke.

Matchedem commission thing is a non event, fake news. In my opinion one of three things happened him.
1. He is gone over to oddsmonkey.
2. He hit the accounts too hard and too fast and now is permanently banned by all bookies and him and his family are on every black list there is.
3. He was intensely backing and laying so many horses over so many bookies. Perhaps he backed/layed the wrong horse which could cost 1000’s and really cripple your matched betting career. Mistakes happen when you have so much on the go. That’s what he did, he went for quantity of offers over quality of offers. Maybe overdid the quantity and lost track of some bets. Like I say layed the wrong horse at a big price and ended up losing the back and paying out the lay for 1000’s.

Didnt Match also lose his job?. Maybe his new boss is wise to him and makes him graft for a living rather than on his phone all day betting. Not seen him on OM. The commission was mentioned in posts. He just got his profits a bit wrong – hardly seemed a reason to leave. He wasnt too bad if you didnt take him too seriously (his spelling would crack me up – “sucksess” which he blamed on predictive text).

Hope scenario 3 didnt happen to him and if it did, hope it was 1k rather than several. I’ve lost 1k before and it can be real gutting, feels like you’ve invalidated a whole months worth of work. If it was scenario 2 then it would make sense given he seemed to lump on everything although im very skeptical about the bets he claimed he was placing. Scenario 1 sounds most likely, anyone seen him over there?
9.15 Kempton may be worth watching, favourite has drifted somewhat during the day making it less favourable as a bad ew though.

Wow totally gone.
Sorry about that one, looked great at the time, the win arb was surprisingly big so thought it was getting smashed in. Gone the opposite way. Hope some money comes in so we at least dont make a loss. Not looking good though.
+0That 4.40 race was only 15 runners quite a bit before when I looked, bookies only doing 4 places
That commission confusion was one of his last posts but that wasn’t the cause. I’d called him out on things in the past where he had to backtrack but he wasn’t too bothered on it. He’d still have time to pop by if he was on another forum or working in day, and I’m not sure he bet big enough individual stakes to crash that big…. plus I believe he really was ultra careful on matching things up.
I suspect something’s happened that’s made him drop betting/forums- hopefully it’s a woman (in which case he’ll be back)rather than anything serious!+0

Weird market, cant make its mind up. Saw him drift to 26.0 at some bookies before coming back in.
