Aye , 3rd place trick would of done the business for me if full 8 runners. Fancied that “finally mine”which I backed and Manzo which came 3rd. Onwards and upwards.

Fanshawe’s horse slipped in for a nice arb second in that 650….All 8 came out the gates

Well, the markets didn’t agree with me on that Rare Gem SP Evens in the 750…but its run justified my belief it was way too short at even 2.48 as it trailed in 6th about 10 lengths off the winner!

The recent resurgence of the ‘Old Arby Army’ spurred on with/by the emergence of fearless new recruits has brought me to upgrade/include the old Arby ranks

General Enigma- Been in the firing line for so many battles..now settled in the back seat/strategic roll…But ready to come out for the glory battles like 8/9 runner short price Group 1’s and top notch 16+ hcaps..when no bookie is safe from the onslaught…

Captain Scabba- Still refusing to take an upstairs job.. out there ‘in the field’ -often behind enemy lines- for every battle..sometimes getting caught out in no no mans land and taking the odd shrapnel blow…but takes out more than enough targets to make amends….

Lieutenant- MRM- Relentless and hungry for battle sniper…Precision picking off targets as soon as they pop out…Rarely comes out of cover.or drops the ball..

Lieutenant- Andybets- Toned down a bit on fearless willingness to go ‘over the top’ – ‘where eagles dare’ etc and settled more into tactical strategies…The odd battle may get lost but one deadly move/scalp can often turn the whole tide…

Warrant Officer ‘Big Arb’ Tony- On a lot of undercover/spy missions these days- less out in the firing line than before…but will report in at the right times with vital scraps of information..

Corporal Deej- Was involved in some great battles when the action resumed post ceasefire/Lockdown…Taking a bit of leave recently but still capable of lobbing a deadly grenade from time to time when the action livens up..

Coparal- Frank ‘The’ Man- Fast emerging force- not afraid to dive over the top and take the odd shrapnel blow…Has brought in some new lines of attack recently- adding more problems for the enemy to worry about..

Corporal-Mikey87- Rising through the ranks- Communications specialist and always on the lookout for available targets….

    Corporal- Llew Goch- Another fast-emerging force…Quality Tactician/sniper..

Corporal- ‘Crafty’ Crofty- Tactical expert- Rising through the ranks..Eager for action

Lance Corporal- Wisermiser- Hungry for battle and fast learning the ropes…Emerging force

Lance Corporal- Excellent- Capable of spotting any available gaps ‘in the line’ and using unorthorox/deadly maneuvers to pounce..

Loving the scabbadab ranking system gave me a chuckle😂. Nothing really standing out at the moment but quite a few to keep an 👁 on especially with the weather forecast . Spotted Bangor 12:00 (6r) but 3 fav @ 15/8. Bangor 3.05 (10r) 15/8 could do with 1/2 nrs. Cork 1:15 (7r) 1/2 fav. Yarmouth 6:30 (9r) 11/10 fav. Bellewstown 4:10 (12r) evs & 15/8 favs. Belle 4:40 (6r) 4/9 fav. Belle 6:45 (11r) 13/8 fav. Catterick 12:50 (12r) 5/4& 7/4. Most of these races could fall into place with non runners.

Ha brilliant Scabba, the army has expanded nicely with the new recruits proving their worth!

With all the bad weather about it’s a day for keeping a watching brief, could well throw up some unexpected value.

    Excellent 3

I like the lance corporal part even though I’m AWOL at times. Too much work stuff at the moment. I think rain will play havoc today.
