Right an idea I got from oddsmonkey, we post the daily bad EW races on here with no chat or discussion, plenty of topics for that. Think this thread will help us all in case you don’t think it will just skip this please ?

I think 1/5 7 will be decent value mate if getting the difficult win side on a razor tight/bang on match- would expect at least a couple of NRs also which will add some value to extra place bets,,My guess atm is that a bang on win match at a 20-1+ price with 1/5 6 places will be around be a small e/w arb leaving free shot/s extra value if getting on with 7s and 8 places
Am perhaps optimistic in thinking that with 2/3 nrs and the size of the 5 rank outsiders (150.0+) that come the off a nice tight win match on a 16-1+ may be laid off for no/very small loss on 5 places

Nice1 Enigma- Caught that Anything today at 40-1 (was on my big price hit list) as it edged in from 44.0 on the win- was only up for another 5 mins as it nudged to 38.0 then PP cut to 33s then slashed it! and it kept coming on in
Im 100% sure now that bang on win/price match ups will be small value at 5 places- so 6 places def worth doing if win price tight (maybe not so much on under 12-1 range) and of course 7/8 places -5 places 1/4 odds will be worth doing also IMO.Those 5/6 huge price shots IMO makes it more like a 25/26R race- take off a possible 2 for NRS and its like a 24r on paper where 6 places are normally solid value on good win price match ups and 7+ places are excellent value.
Take my word, if you see a 6 place offer with close match ups- take it!

Morning all! A mixed bag on the value front/hunt today- but not too bad as Saturdays go IMO.
Aside from the talked about bumper field (29) r Hcap at Newmarket (335) where the best time to get on for value was yesterday- There are these to keep em peeled on..1255 Haydock- 10R- Fav 1.8
2.20 Ripon 8R- 3 prices around 6/4-3/1
315 Curragh 13R- 1/5 odds 4 places EPR- Fav 2.9
410 Newmarket- 16R- Handicap- 1/4 4p- 1/5 5P- Fav 6.0
420 Curragh- 21R- Handicap 1/4 4p- 1/5 5P- Fav 6.0 (not great!)
450- Curragh 17R- Handicap 1/4 4p- 1/5 5P- Fav 3.0- (nice on paper if 16+ go)
515 Chelms- 16R Handicap 1/4 4p- 1/5 5P- Fav 6.0Thats about it atm for me- Prob only confident of going for the 1255/315/335 and maybe 450 atm..See how the they/others pan out…
+0So I had a massive piece of luck in the Cambridgeshire last Sat. After 4.5 years of MBing or EW arbing I’ve never actually had this happen. Had £3 EW on Majestic Dawn placed quite late Friday night. Tried to lay it off on Smarkets but it didnt get matched (even though it would have been matched at BF, Smakets was just one tick above). I didnt clock that it wasnt matched (mostly because i was spam betting in the last 15 mins before the off) and of course it went on to win. A fully undeserved extra £90
Irony is that I had Majestic Dawn at 28/1 and it won at an SP of 40/1
