There are possibly a couple of races at Sligo and one at Dundalk if the markets move the right way, but I find it hard to read these low liquidity Irish markets especially when the bookies cramp their prices whereas even the Betfair EW market might be 10% higher than some of the more generous firms!

Good stuff all- trying to fill in some time whilst I wait for the final leg/plane of my days marathon ‘Escape from Alcatraz’ run. So with 2 hours to wait will piece together any races of interest tomorrow that I can see…

1. 315 Chelts- 17rhcap Hills/Slybet going 6 places 1/5. Others the usual mixture. Fav 6-1 so not great on paper outside the 2 6 place firms AIS.
2. 215 Doncs- 9 r- Slybet paying 1/5 4 places (dont know the min requirements) with fav at 6/4 would be value if getting near a win match and the 4 places stand.
3. 405 Dons- 16 r hcap- with fav at 11/2 and runners on cut off unlikely/Limited value AIS.
4.1250 Kelso- 10r/BEW- With fav 6/5 and 2nd fav 11/8 and 10r- should be some v good value in there at some points/and should go off in tact
5. 125 Kelso- 9r small BEW- Fav 5/4 2nd fav 9/4. One of those minimal b/ews that may throw up a 10-15% arb or two- AIS
6. 308 Kelso 15r hcap- Fav 5-1- Hills listed as 1/5 5 places- so may throw up some value depending on Hills terms/tosh prices
7. 120 Leopors- 12r- small BEW. 4/6 fav- looks minimal value type race atm but may improve.
8. 335 Newbs- 12 r v small bew- Fav 5/4. Needs a lot of improving..ie fav going shade odds on and 2+ nrs prob. But certainly worth a check or two
9. 815 Chems- 13 r hcap- Slybet 4 places- Fav 2-1. Should have value with Sly- providing can get close on a decent odds win match- on a plus Sly pay 10r plus and a neg their odds are normally tosh.
10. 322 Galway- 10 r bad e/way. Wit fav 5/4- 2nd fav 6/4 and 3rd 7/2 atm. Value for sure if scalping one of the bigger prices at a tightish win match- easier said than done on a low level Irish race but promising on paper.

A couple of other 20+ hcaps worth keeping tabs on and a stack of EPRs with 3/1+ favs prob not worth tabbing. As always things can turn a lot with some going off radar and others perking up from nowhere. As it stands Id rate it as Saturdays go a 4.5/10 kind of day where an allround hard chiseller could grind out a good take if putting in a focused scanning days graft.
