Doubt it. Not point back and laying a correct score for a £1 or so loss just put your pound or so loss on 0-0 at 15.0

The bore draw probably doesn’t work along side this offer but assume it was a normal game then your maths are way off jeff…if you got a £1 loss on correct score youd get your £50 back….or in case of William Hill a £50 free bet…(£39 profit £40 80% -£1 loss) compared to £1 at odds of 15. Don’t see the logic there..

Yeah got confused about how you was looking at covering the bore draw. Not very happy coz I got on barca at 1.66 on Sunday hoping the odds would come in closer to the game there now 1.87 which for me to lay is giving me a £6 loss. Have to learn by this mistake but a few mentioned on here about taking the early price and the odds coming in so thought I would give it a try. Won’t be doing it again haha

Should have waited some more. There will be a ton of money coming in for Barca in the next few hours (not least from us) so I suspect the odds will be closer to 1.66 than the 1.83 they are at now.

If the in-play bet loses on this offer, is it returned as a free bet or as money available for withdraw straight away?

Its returned as cash for withdrawal but isnt immediate. Going on previous offers, it will be around 11.30pm tonight you’ll get it back (assuming it loses).

Interesting to read about various plans to punt the risk free £50

I have had a go at punting some free bets recently (in an ‘educated’ fashion), with mixed success. I do tend to agree that there will be goals in this game, so I was intrigued by the ‘over 2.5 first half goals’ suggestion above, scooping you a £150+ profit?

Let’s be honest though – you are not paying just £2 (or whatever your qualifying loss was) for that privilege, you are also paying the cost of not taking the guaranteed £35 that this offer otherwise provides.

You are therefore effectively risking £35 to win £150+, so probably profitably in the long term depending on the odds you get for over 2.5 first half goals

Suppose you’re right Tony but I dunno, the gambler in me wants to punt it. It’s more exciting haha. The way I see it one substantial win on a punt is worth about 5 or 6 of these offers. Obviously no guarantee my punt will win, but I have a good feeling about it. I’m going to wait for the first goal of the game though before punting. I need Barca to score first to bank 50+ quid from the enhanced 6/4 I got on them.
