If I could make that much money every week then I could give up the day job. But would I want to? It was quite stressful at times! And put in some overtime at nights trying to get odds for the next day.
Anyway lost two good bookies as well, Sky and Ladbrokes … so wasn’t all good news for me.
Well, I’m taking a well deserved break (well at least until Wolverhampton Races at 18:10 haha).

Today I tried that for the first races and didn’t go too well. Anyway it was very time consuming I found and hardly did any ‘real’ work. Shame we get all these offers at once really as I ended up with so many free bets I tended to punt them only for my layed horses to go on and win and punts to come 2nd or 3rd 🙁

Well Simon swings & roundabouts i’m pretty sure laying is probably more profitable over time, but that’s a different thread which I have seen previously. I didn’t find too many free bets a problem really….I never did the last race each day just used my free bets on them and managed to get very good matches usually getting 90% from most free bets, didn’t take too long at all quick back and lays done.
Funny how you put you would have made 4 figures if you didn’t lay..looks like you would have made more if you did lay (your free bets)!+0

Passed the £3k profit mark today since I started back in November.
+0Ha yes very true. Should have laid the freebies. But they were lowish odds and used them as a hedge sometimes.
At end of day I couldn’t do much as exchange was empty too. Anyway I learnt a lot from the 4 days
Now onto tomorrow’s sky bet offer on uttoxeter.

Another thank you post to everyone who contributed anything at all to the last 4 days. It was busy, stressful and manic at times, particularly trying to fit it all in around my (real!) day job.
I’ve learnt a lot too, my biggest regret was only having 1 MBS account alive for Cheltenham. Losing WH the week before has probably cost me a fair chunk of profit but it has still been a great few days 😉
Well done to the BIG winners, and the smaller winners alike. Profit is the name of the game in this lark, so if you’ve made some then well done and here’s to next year!
