So on the extra place – have I got this right?
Superb Story is 8/1 in the 2:10. On betfair sportsbook EW terms are 1/4 Odds, 5 places.
So back 25 e/w means I have 25 @ 9.0 to win and 25 @ 3.0 to place in top 5.
On Smarkets to place market is Top 4. He is 9.4 to lay to win, and 3.4 to lay to place.
So lay 23.99 to win and lay 22.52 to place means the following …..
If bookie horse wins i’m up £250.00 in bookie and down £254.42 in exchange for loss of £4.42.
If bookie horse places (doesn’t win) i’m up £25.00 in bookie and down £29.42 in exchange for same loss £4.42
If bookie & exchange place bets both win i’m up £25.00 in bookie and up £45.58 in exchange for the jackpot win of £70.58
If exchange bet wins I’m down £50.00 in bookies and up £45.58 in exchange for the loss of £4.42.So basically 15/1 effective odds that Superb Story will finish 5th. No idea if that is good odds of a horse finishing in a fairly random position in a field of 26.
I’ll also be eligible for the free bet for winners too if he wins.
What kind of qualifying losses are people accepting for what kind of profit in these things?

I didn’t max it out. just did a £20/£30 dutch. I love my Skybet account and don’t want to jeopardise it by shoving £80 on some mickey mouse market they’ve put up for the housewives and grannies lol

Dont think you can get £27 Acole. Ryan i think the Dutch calculator was about £78ish but ive stuck to a round number so i get slightly more if she completes.

Managed to get £36 profit (that was using £100 two accounts)
odds went to 1.83 which decreased profits…
£165 @1.83 = £136.95 – £100 = £36.95

Racing is tough today but I would argue its better than yesterday due to overall strengths of the fields unlike yesterday where strong favourites were in fields of low quality.
Regardless, its the final day so I’m throwing everything I have at every race.

Minor Celeb? have you seen how many camera crews etc are going there today just for her? There will be lots of bets going on her. I don’t see this as sketchy at all….lots of punters wishing her to fail or succeed. Anywho if you feel that way just don’t do the bet simple?

+0not really. being gubbed is completely random in my opinion. i think its quite mug like behaviour. a lot of people who routinely bet on horses might be thinking theres not a hope in hell of her transferring from a different sport and completing a race at one of the biggest events on the calendar.
