Cheltenham profits so far

  • I thought with 1 day togo it might be a idea to detail down everyones profits, if its close between a few we could have a top of the league clash and maybe even a challenge for a top 4 finish (hopefully no one will need relegating LOLLIPOP)

    So how are you doing?

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I made £560 for the 4 days with all free bets used and accounted for.

Now just sit back and wait for the gubbings to role in.

Matt was also kind enough to reset my password whilst he has been so busy as my PC dropped it for some reason so thanks for that Matt. A good week off in all took holidays in the end as lasy year was too manic

Jdrobbo – can you just give me an idea of how you’ve been able to make that much? Arbing I assume? But that must be absolutely massive stakes to be getting to that number?

    Anon. Jdrobbo is being sarcastic.

I didn’t get much on today so I’m going to say a few hundred for the festival. Well done to one and all.

    £515 all bets accounted for.

My last bet was on an ew arb which romped home. Putting £4k into my 365 and SkyBet accounts for about £40.

I expect to lose my 365, Sky and PaddyPower accounts within the week.

If I had just backed everything I layed, I’d have about £2 or 3K profit.

I’m absolutely frigged mind. Trying to keep an eye on bets whilst at work was not fun!

The doubters must really get you down Matchdem. You should set up a betting log topic, each time you place a bet post the details-shut them up once and for all.

Steve if you look on another tbread it sppears he did post his bets before tbe races but he ended up making a net loss on the large number of bets ,approx 40.

Think it is now clear that he is a fraud. Surprised you were taken in my him.You seem very savy

Spring in Florida is lovely. We used to own a couple of properties in Kissimmee and loved the greenness and warmth at this time of year.

Anyone else have their Sky plus on pause and thus 4 minutes behind for the very first race when trying (unsuccessfully obviously) to lay a horse. Just me? Yep, good start was made there 🙂

Awful first two days, but decided to have some fun today with all my free bets considering it is the biggest racing day of the year. Punted my free bets tactically on the 1330 and the 1530 Gold Cup covering all the big players which seen me scoop up a fair whack, especially with two EW’s on Sizing John and another £25 free bet on him on the nose also.

So back to the grindstone now and waiting for some ‘Important information regarding your account’ emails…..

I made £700. I took the afternoon of the first day off work, but otherwise was at work for the races. I’d hoped for £400-600, so I’m very happy with the £700. Had a few massive arbs, virtually nothing from free bets (which I dont lay off, just punt).

I need to get more into the EW arbing, as that brought me about £100 from a few races.

Made £1100 from two accounts, but still got around £250 in free bets to use, got a lucky win on an E/W arb that also happened to pay out on the extra place, made around £330 from that. I only just attempted E/W arbing after making costly mistakes in the past (Lost £150), made the most on my own account of around £800 though. Been a great week but extremely stressful, glad its over!

It was my first ever Cheltenham as a MBer, made £325. 🙂

Loads of my bets lost – my exchange balances have never looked so healthy! Hopefully that means I’ll be able to keep all my bookie accounts.

Made just over £500 over the 4 days so very pleased. Expecting to be hit by the gubbing stick from Skybet but hey-ho.
Thought the Skybet offer was the best over the festival closely followed by Ladbrokes. Was disappointed by the William Hill offer – they must have been in conference for weeks thinking up that one!

First Cheltenham here also. Made £370 over the 4 days, but was limited on Day 1 due to work. Thoroughly enjoyed it, however was absolutely shattered by the end (brain fried also).
Have began reading up on the guides to each way arbing and extra place offers (thanks to those who wrote them), and will slowly move towards these offers in preparation for the Grand National and Aintree.
It’s the first horse racing festival I have ever watched and can safely say I have a new appreciation for the sport. Hoping to attend Cheltenham next year for what looks like an incredible day out!
