Yeah, that’s not what I mean – I’m saying allow people to donate to posts so that posting offers can be incentivised. The New Offers forum is definitely quieter than it should be considering the amount of users on here.

I genuinely believe the long-term success of this site could be helped by thinking more about it. I literally only come on this site for the New Offers section, because most of the main page stuff is irrelevant because I’m gubbed so many places now.

I don’t think Matt has anything to lose by doing so – I just think maybe he’s not appreciating the potential it has. Getting people returning to the site can only help him, if it involves something that requires no long-term effort for him, even better.

1) When a link to another forum thread is posted in a thread, it overlaps onto the post(s) underneath, blocking at least one message. That must be fixable without too much trouble.

2) A function to post images would be useful.

3) PM function as mentioned by other posters above.

Whenever I post on a thread I can only ‘edit’ the post for a few moments before the ‘edit’ option disappears. Can this be changed? I hate making spelling mistakes & sometimes I can’t change my errors.

Also, could we have the option to ‘delete’ a post? Sometimes I post & somebody beats me to it so it’s duplicate information. I think a delete post option would be good.

Is it possible to quote posts? That way you’ll see the original comment & reply in the same box.

Please consider a more robust moderation for disruptive and difficult members.
I have been so put off and discouraged from even clicking on certain posts because of the inevitable nonesense and sometimes bullying and unpleasantness.
I know a certain disruptive character has been blocked and some of the more vocal members have disagreed with this but for the majority of quieter members this has been a very positive action.

There have unfortunately been a number of members of this forum who seem to delight in trading personal insults, which ends up lowering the tone of the site and making many of us want to go elsewhere.

Perhaps with the above in mind a ‘moderation’ system could be devised whereby if any one contributor gets 3 or more votes (number to be decided) against them for making insulting comments they are then considered for permanent banning by the site owners.

My message to some on this site would be if you don’t agree with someone’s comments then that’s fine and you can disagree politely with a rationale argument but please don’t make it far worse by writing very insulting comments…….

If that’s the case most numbers will be banned for having a go at Matchedem.

Let’s see what’s he’s like when he returns, his bark mightn’t be so loud after his time-out.
