Horse Racing (13th Feb)

  • Guess its my turn to create the Horse Race thread!

    Channel 4 Races – Newbury 1:50/2:25/3:00/3:35 Warwick: 2:05/2:40

    My thoughts:

1:50: 8 Runners (Currently) – Sky offering 2nd/3rd, William Hill (Mobile Only), Ladbrokes will both be doing 2nd. Therefore cover 3 horses with those offers, add in bet365 4/1 and also maybe betfairs 3/1. If you are very lucky you could get 1st with Bet365/2nd with WH/Lads & 3rd with Sky, unlikely but you never know!

2:05: 6 Runners – A few low odds here therefore making it a strong possibility to bag a 2nd refund using WH with one and Ladbrokes with another.

2:25: 7 Runners – A few low odds also so not a bad shout again.

2:40 3 Runners – and therefore probably not worth touching.

3:00 5 Runners – therefore I would wait to see if there are any non runners, one donkey being 100/1 therefore could be a good chance on this one.

3:35 22 Runners – I doubt i’ll be touching this one. Sporting bet are doing 2nd/3rd so maybe pick a horse with Bet365 and cover 1st/2nd/3rd depending on qualifying losses, but i’ll probably leave it!

Good luck guys, fingers crossed for a profitable one!!

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Oh well, bookies money lost rather than my own there.

One more shot at the 4.45 with Paddy I think.

Same here, last one of the day.
Really hope PP comes in, although quite unlikely.

2nd was a random donkey, typical

I reckon im £115 up today. Mental. Was already up around £80 this week.
That little spree on bet365 could have netted me £700 profit if i was a gambler though!

Yep, a really good day. Having one good day a month on the horses makes it all worthwhile. I’m on £374 profit for February, with £25 of free bets for tomorrow.

I thought Houblon Des Obeaux’s starting price was less than 3/1 so I wasn’t going to get the £25 free bet from betfair…turns out they had the SP as 4.0 so I have gotten the £25 free bet from them, been a great day for me!

Great day here too, since last night I’ve made £130 profit across all the various offers.

Just got out of jail with the William Hill though, those two early goals screwed me as I had layed over 2.5 goals so lost £16 at the exchange. Saw Chelsea to score 5 goals or more was 3.0 at half time so I punted the £20 qualifier on that and boom, the fifth just went in. Lucky I know, thats why I love gambling though.

Did you not get on the Chelsea to win by 2 more goals from WH? underlay for £6.50 profit I did post it!

Bah, good to see some had luck today. Mostly down to picking the correct winners for B365!

Figure I lost about £20 on qualifiers for WHills,365,Laddies,Betfair. No 2nds, no 1sts :( thank god for Coral and Betway fb to reduce the losses.

Saw it Ryan but at the time it was a lot less than £6.50 so I couldnt be bothered. Anything that yields less than £5 profit isnt worth the potential gubbing in my opinion.

Guess thats you’re own opinion, but considering most price boots are like excempt from gubbings..mainly the free bets but yeh.

I’m pretty sure price boosts are considered promotions and therefore arent exempt from gubbing procedures. Wonder how we could find that out for sure?

Well I have been doing paddy price boosts and made a killer from them even though I have been gubbed since May 2015..
