I just used my £50 worth of free bets at Betfred and Totesport on a ridiculous arb I couldnt quite believe. I got 17/11 on a horse in the 7.45 race at Ffos Las The Detainee for £71 extraction. Crazy.
I bet I win fuck all tomorrow.

Interesting Fog, do you always bet £50 stakes on the 4/1 offer? I never go the full £50 unless its 25 each way, sometimes I dont bother with a race if theres several short price favs, add in a few mug bets on non promo races and I never bother with the feature races either. Happy to take less potential profit to keep the account healthy. Been getting more loyalty bonuses too so touch wood the account is in decent shape.

Maybe I got carried away, did a couple of the feature races too but have won loads from them this month. I got a loyalty bonus yesterday so thought all was well. Can still do the channel 4/1 offer, just with restricted stakes.

Gman. I do the feature races and the channel 4 races. I vary my stakes with the exchange rate. Sometime €30 ew, sometimes €60, sometimes €50.
I can get a refund anything between €55 and €65 depending on the exchange rate to £50. So maybe varying stakes works.
I kinda gave up trying to guess what gets ppl gubbed and just take as much as I can.

I was recently reading an article (cant find it otherwise I would provide a link), about the chief football odds compiler for Coral. The article was describing his typical week, it was very interesting. One passage which caught my eye was that he has software on his computer that alerts him every time Coral is mentioned on the betfair chat site.
So if he is using things like that chances are that a lot of the bookies are monitoring sites such as this one, and any posts that mention their company name may be high lighted. I don’t know, I’m not a computer expert, but I would imagine its not difficult to do.

Fog – thats fair enough. I think perhaps bet365 being the biggest online bookie, they have so many accounts to monitor that it can be easier to slip under the radar. I remember though when a lot of the people on here got a gubbing around the same time, everybody was doing all the feature races for the full 50.
My method seems to be working so far but if I get gubbed tomorrow I wont be surprised.
