New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

LOL, I just posted this…
https://matchedbettingblog.com/topic/how-to-improve-the-hot-offers-thread-idea/#.VmWzWfm8PCM
…in the General Chit-Chat section.
Might be worth “closing” off the old, original thread with a post directing people to this thread if that is what you want them to do, Mike?
+0Perhaps we could get a new thread going every Monday morning or something to start the new week? Or maybe very 2 weeks.
Good idea though Mike, the scroll wheel on the mouse was worn 🙂
+0Coral price boost Everton to win both halfs 6, currenty lay on betfair 3.55……can’t see max bet at the mo
+0Cancel the last, different markets!!
+0Stan James… Place a bet over 2/1 on Man City V MG tonight and they’ll match winning stakes as a free bet upto £25 if it wins
Same offer for the Arsenal game tomorrow
+0WH Enhanced Odds. Real Madrid to win by 4 or more @ 3.75. Can lay Real Madrid -3.5 Asian Handicap on Betfair @ 2.94. Max stake is £10 so can make around £2.30 on this one.
+0Not a great selection of odds on Stan James
+0Sky Bet – Man U, Man City & Real to win – boosted to 8.0 (v7.0 on Betfair)
£20 max
Not a great straight up arb (only £1.88 profit), but worth it if fully underlayed for a £13.70 profit on win and no loss if not
+0WH …12.50 Uttoxeter … Aubusson boosted to 5/4 from 4/5. Looks a very small window for profit. Possible lay at evs. Max 20 though.
+0Hey Tony i was just wondering how i would go about arbing this offer?how did you do it?thnak you
+0Hey walka, there are acca markets on Betfair, so it’s just a case of finding the right one (Utd/City/Real to win) and laying there.
As this was a £20 max offer at Sky, and I wanted to fully underlay it, I placed a lay stake of £21.05 (which after commission will net to £20 if the acca doesn’t come in – note that this is the amount wagered at the bookie).
You can obviously underlay partially for a guaranteed return either way, but to be honest for the values involved it’s not really worth it.
When looking to FULLY underlay (so no profit/loss on the bookie bet losing), just remember that you basically need you lay stake to be £10.20 per £10 at smarkets (2% comm) and £10.52 per £10 at betfair (5% comm)
There are calculators out there that include under and over lay options, just google to find one. A decent free app is also available that does the same (for iOS and Android)
Hope that helps, but shout up with any more questions mate 🙂
+0Aubusson backed into 1.66. Just laid off my stake and let it run as a free punt 🙂
+0Worth noting that in long distance races you can get a lot of opportunities in-running to lay up for a profit, especially on favourites.
+0Easy win.
+0I think this has been flagged up before, but in case anyone isnt taking advantage of NetBet’s advent calendar, it really has had some nice little freebies on there, and today is a completely free £10 bet! (Just extracted £9.82 from it on horses). Get on it.
Also, while I am posting this I would politely suggest that we try to keep this thread to the original rules of no chat, no thank you’s, and start a new thread for questions and comments to negate spamming! Cheers!
