Ive gone for a crazy roundabout bet for the QPR v Brighton both teams to score no draw enhancement… Way too long winded but I’ll let yas know how I get on, breaking my brains trying to work out how I may or may not lose money lol

Snap mate, the long way around but ended up with £8 profit… Also had £2 on QPR @ 120.00 lol!… Would have been around +£18 had Brighton held on but not too disappointed

I decided to take a punt and stuck the £10 free bet on 2-2 at 17.0…was wondering what the hell I was thinking at half time, check back later and it came in for me!
Yesterday I stuck my skybet £5 free bet on vardy to score first and final score 2-1 at 35.0 and that came in too, my Christmas has come early 🙂
+0While I admire your results, winnings like this are not what people should expect from matched betting. I have been doing it two months, quite seriously and I only average 200 quid per month. Your profits on them 2 bets have been nearly 3 times my profit from 2 bets but they relied purely on luck and unfortunately some of us never get that. I have tried punting a few matched bets and won the square root of fuck all. Seeing posts like yours is heartwarming in one way but in other ways it can skew peoples expectations as to what to expect from MB. I reckon I could punt my next twenty free bets and get nowhere near your profits on those 2 bets.

Totally agree roro1990 … I’d rather take my guaranteed 6 quid than a highly unlikely punt on a 17/1 shot. Slow and steady wins the race overall when it comes to that strategy. I’m surprised you’re only averaging 200 a month though, as you should be fairly comfortably taking 400 if you exploit the vast majority of offers.

Of course the odds arent great its still over 8 hours till the race…but with this one just back and lay an outsider for the smallest loss you can and then lay the favourite so its risk free..simple

I understand backing/laying an outsider but don’t get laying the fave separately. If the fave wins won’t there be some outlay biting into the free bet? I’m a newbie so prob missing something!!
