Milestone achieved

  • Started doing this matched betting on 20th October and today with the help of a couple of slots wins and lucky 15s along the way I broke through the £1000 profit barrier. If I’d known then what I know now this figure would have been a good bit higher. I’m very happy and long may it continue.

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Hi Guys What is the best way to play the channel 4 Bet 365 offer? To make £4.00 a race? Is that total risk free? Then has anyone been gubbed that way?
    Appreciate some feedback.
    Thanks

Perrybhoy ive never done the bet365 guarantee method tend to just let it run but basicaly if you back a winner at 4/1 you get a £50 risk free bet, so you can extract £35 from it (maybe more not sure) therefore you can lay the favourite…as if it wins you get the £50 risk free bet.

It’s fairly straightforward. You’ll need to make sure of all the terms and conditions as I did this several months ago.

Most bingo sites offer you like 250% bonus (some higher)… Wagering requirements vary. Your expected return on 70-ball bingo is 70% or so – it’s only 60% for 90-ball bingo, so stick to 70-ball where possible. For most of the sites, it’s simply huge plus EV to just deposit and purchase tickets really quickly with your cash and bonus funds. If you want to get advanced, you can increase your EV even further by wagering the cash and bonus funds on roulette first (you are essentially betting using the house’s money).

Yeah, it’s probably easiest to use the method Ryan mentions.

If you want to get advanced, you can treat the Bet365 Channel4/1 offer as an infinite series. If you get a £50 winner, you’ll get a £50 risk free bet, but if that wins you get another risk free bet etc. This allows you to overlay appropriately and guarantee a profit for every race.

Well, I’ve not been gubbed and it’s been months. Perhaps placing ACCAs several times a week leads them astray? (even though the ACCAs are massively plus EV)

Mark, probably a stupid question but you said ‘increase your EV even further’ what does EV mean?

    Sorry, expected value.

@MarkCorrigan when you talk about plus EV acca’s im assuming you are referring to laying accumulators and hoping for one team to lose?

I don’t know if you have the time but if you could explain how to do that at some stage we would all be grateful here. There is no doubt that bookies love punters doing acca’s and in my opinion they are the key to a healthy account. I usually mug bet a couple of quid per week on a few multiple bet, they rarely win but its worth it for keeping accounts open.

I’ve always wondered how to lay the 5 fold acca’s though to chase the refund. I was a member of a website that described how to do it but unfortunately i can no longer afford their membership. I read through how to do it briefly it looks intimidating

I would be interested about learning about the accas too. Looks like a nice earner but I really don’t know the strategy to implement.

    Congrats on your milestone Pickle.

Dangerzone just have a couple of points about living in Thailand and matched betting.

I am currently living here teaching english and matched betting,

It depends on where you live, in a rural area matched betting could easily cover all your expenses but living in a Bangkok you might struggle.

Online gambling is illegal in Thailand and therefore you would have to use a VPN (such as cyberghost) to bounce your I.P back to the UK.

The time difference is 6 or 7 hours ahead depending on DST and therefore some offers are tricky to do.

Although it is very much possible, i make slightly less from matched betting than i do from teaching and i was saving money prior to doing matched betting, however i am living in a rural area.

Bet365 horse racing – a number of people have been restricted with this offer, pretty easy to make £5 a race at over 5.0 overlaying but remember a few winners at those odds you’ll have a lot of money in your account.Currently 4 people at work restricted due to this and are gutted every time the football in play offer comes around. Personally a lot of hassle for a £5 profit.

Well done Pickle, good going, keep it up!

Just to jump on the being gubbed at bet365 part, a guy at work who signed himself and his wife up to 365, did the sign up offer, the mobile reload and then ONLY did the 365 football offer recently got gubbed. I read his email which said that he was no longer able to participate in the offer but was free to do the Feature/ Channel 4 offers as they were open to “ALL CUSTOMERS”.

I haven’t been gubbed myself but can see it coming in the near future, has anyone else had that email who can confirm the horse racing offers are for everyone, restricted accounts or not?

To Dangerzone, I havent kept a record of all bets seperately so i dont know how much ive made from Matched betting exclusively. Id guess im £125 to £150 up on casino and i got a £90 and a £35 on two lucky 15s with paddy power when i first opened my account with them. Im very happy that my total profit has reached £1k and so far i havent been restricted by any bookie. I also appreciate its probably gonna slow down a lot after christmas. I was gonna tackle the Winner signup bonus this week but after getting 3 winners that i wanted to lose yesterday im a bit worried that i could run into problems with it.
